If you ask me. Karl wanted to be banned from the NBA for a lifetime. There is no way he thought he could get a Job in the NBA again. Its over for him. If he is working for ESPN Im sure the back lash my cause him to get fired as well.

What a fool man. You know what's sad? The casual fan is going to eat this chit up and love all these quotes...

I think he'd piss himself if Dolan decided to square up with him let alone Melo.

Talking like this apparently can get you elected President of the United States. He probably figures why not?

It would be a great strategy to bring out everybody's competitive spirit. Guys on the team would be competing extra hard to have the best game so they can be interviewed by her. We'd have players averaging triple doubles on a nightly basis

DENVER NUGGETS
Jamal Murray/Ty Jerome/Dante Exum
Zach Lavine/Ayo Dosunmu/Corey Kispert
Aaron Gordon/Harrison Barnes/Isaac Okoro
Jakob Poeltl/Moussa Diabate/Karlo Matkovic

I've both been in support and have also been critical of Phil Jackson in the past but this is a perfect opportunity for Phil Jackson to step up to the plate and hit for Carmelo Anthony (while mocking, laughing at & criticizing a head coach who's coached for 27 years without a single NBA title).
If Phil Jackson doesn't come out & publicly stand up for Melo (against George Karl) I'll personally lose a lot of respect for the same Phil Jackson i defended while publicly criticizing Melo.
Who better to stand up for Melo than Phil himself? I couldn't care less what Phil says in regards to Karl. Just say something, anything.

What a joke. Karl trying to sell more book copies, and he's willing to throw everyone under the bus to do it

Here's a true test to see just how fair the media is. Considering what they did to Phil a few weeks ago for that "posse" comment, they better rip Karl to shreds over this.

They ripped Phil for it because Lebron was offended by it and made a big deal of it. Had Lebron not said anything, people would've glossed over that comment.
Also ripped Phil because he's still active in the league and running a team.
Karl is basically retired. When he wrote this book he knew he was never working for anyone again (in a basketball capacity) so you could kind of guess that he was going to let'er rip with the comments. It's not exactly a surprise.
Brian Geltzeiler: You see Mark Jackson getting a head coaching job as early as next year?
Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

They are purposely ignoring that quote, and only mentioning kenyon and carmelo's fathers not being around.

Karl has always been and continues to be a total ass
he was never that great a coach and he's always publicly expressed the things other coaches or players or GMs leave behind closed doors
hes a rat and a louse and a cry baby and a totally overrated coach

Re: George Karl at it again...
FYI - Washington took down the tweet and that's why it's not showing up here anymore.
Now, by all means continue bashing Karl for what we know he said (what was in the OP and NY Post article).

Kendall Marshall may not be in the NBA, but it looks like he's still winning.
