George Karl was outta line trying to bring up Melo's father who died of cancer. His need to constantly attack him is pathetic. No one has anything good to say about Karl, and for good reason. Instead of trying to find fault with all of these players who seem to hate u, how about u look in the mirror? Maybe you're the problem...

Melo has to respond to this. I don't care how many "it is what it is" and "at the end of the day" I gotta listen to...Melo gotta respond to this.

No he needs to just focus on his life and his team. When Carmelo Anthony retires, he can write a book and air out all his dirty laundry. Right now, don't let this thing become a distraction. We've had enough drama in the media, Melo should just focus on what matters at this moment in time. George Karl is irrelevant. Just stay Melo

Especially when Kenyon Martin is doing all the talking for him

My biggest problem with Karl here, and in his previous efforts in this vain, is that he a coward - exactly like K-Mart is saying.

This man coached young black men, feigned leadership, made millions of dollars riding their talents, received accolades, and basically embraced the NBA life for nearly 40 years. He immersed himself in it and used it to make himself a very visible and wealthy man.

And now he basically dog-whistles "n*ggers" after his career is over and he's used the league to enrich his life. Just a disgusting person.

Seriously

The more attention this thing gets, the more interest it will gain and watch how many people will then want to go get this book. This is a classic PR move, Karl trying to cash in on this. Don't fall into the trap

Next time they ask him about George Karl, he should just reply with "Who?". That's it, like he's that irrelevant. Leave it at that

Karl is a stupid piece of **** who is trying to stay relevant. Seriously, **** him. Good for K-Mart for going in on him and I hope he continues to do it. As for Melo, stay quiet - no need to get involved in any drama. Take the higher road.

ShazamDaShiznt wrote:karl is the biggest coaching loser of all time, this guy should not criticise anyone's game. Just because he's been coaching teams for two decades while accomplishing nothing doesn't make him a respectable coach.

He couldn't win a title with kemp and payton, when they were killing hakeem's rockets every year, he could't handle that nuggets team either. And he had a one nice year in milwaukee in that 2001 season and it all went downhill as well. He had chauncey drawing up the last play in 09. Unbelieavable scam of a coach.

Exactly. If he wasn't lucky to have some really talented teams, people would see the sham of a coach he was.

On that last note, Billups was shocked Denver didn't have inbound plays when he came to Denver.

indeed

a coach who refuses to put the best defender in the league to guard MJ in the finals

a coach who can't make an inbound play

a coach who loses in quarterfinals with USA national team while playing at home

yet 25+ years of coaching career

this guy is jeff fisher of nba coaches

Forget that. Beating this dude down will only back his hood comments. Even though anybody would want to kick his ass, that's how it will be spun.

Hit him where it hurts - his wallet. Ban him from the NBA

Nah, he needs hands laid on him. I'm ready to lace up the timbs and grab the vaseline. I got my bail money ready.
