And they were 4 year (5 in Robinson's case, right?) seniors. The kids take a minute.

Robinson was actually six (6) years, because of his two-year military commitment. But yup, only two first ballot HOF players were able to do it in the last 28+ years of NBA basketball.

That said, Shaq and Alonzo put up some monster rookie numbers that would have landed them on All NBA teams in most eras. Alonzo stayed all 4 years but Shaq only stayed for 3.

Shaq put up 23/14/3.5 blocks and Alonzo put up 21/10/3.5. Different times.

He's essentially been playing point forward the entire season but yesterday was the first time he exclusively started at PG. If Mozgov had not blown an open dunk, he'd have had a triple double, which would have been amazing for an 18 year old.

He's been 19 his entire NBA career.

Not sure how you can say that when someone simply corrects an incorrect stat.

Sure, it's the D-League, but keep an eye on Utah Jazz rookie big man Bolomboy anyway:

I think he'll prove to be a better pro than loads of 2016 1st round picks. Could be a Milsapp type of player.

Whether it's Rebounding, Scoring, or Passing...what's amazing about Willy Hernangomez is that he does it with SUCH efficiency in limited time!

What's Hornacek's deal with playing him?

He either plays important minutes or gets a DNP Coaches Decision?!

Young Domas Sabonis today after two quarters against Celtics:

14min, 7-7 FG, 3-3 3pt, total 17 points (Westbrook "just" 16 pts.) :)

Malcolm Brogdon finished 7-7, 3-3 3pt, for a total of 17 pts. Also pitched in 7 assists. Already calls for him to move into the starting lineup, after being drafted in the 2nd rd.

But Sabonis has been one of the better rookies this season too. His outside shooting this early has been surprising, ala Brogdog himself.

I'm surprised that second season in a row (last season for Zags and now) Sabonis was able to adjust his game to better collective good and did that exceptionally well. Now Domas is roaming mostly around three point line thus leaving A LOT OF space in the paint for Super_0 to do demolition work inside.

Domas father was a pretty cool cat, but I think that temperature in Domas bloodstream is couple degrees lower. He is just concentrating with cold determination on the job he has to do on the floor. And is very upset cause he can give just 110%. Tries to squeeze couple more drops on every play :)
So far his learning curve is exceptionally steep. I just wonder, where will be the his final stop? :) Defends very well, moves uncharacteristically quick for someone his size and has no problem scoring himself and in team offense overall. Smart kid.
Not gonna be rookie of the year, but in years to come, couple All-Star appearances wouldn't surprise me neither.

At the beginning of the season he had a problem with his TOs.

In the last 5 games, he's had only 2 TOs in 92 minutes!

If you take a step back from basic statistics and actually watch both players you will see that Murray's star-potential is astronomically higher than is Hield's, particularly when you factor in that Murray is 19 and Hield is 22. Murray had a bad start which has dragged his shooting numbers down. Since then, despite playing on a very deep Nuggets team, he has shown flashes of genuine brilliance on the offensive end. Hield has had a couple of decent games, but he has never looked like a future star.

I would love to see Hield become a consistent, productive player, but if I were a Pels fan I'd be furious. Murray could easily turn into the type of player that would be a perfect compliment to Davis, whereas Hield's ceiling looks to be a decent shooter off the bench.

And yes, Brogden looks a very nice player.

The Bucks' should be a 2-seed in 2-3 years.
