You guys should realize that you're both right. Derrick Rose should be our facilitator, but his scoring always helps the team. Problem is the Knicks should not settle for him. bNo makes Derrick Rose seem like a terrible basketball player and others want to re sign him for more than he is worth.

Dude is what he is y'all. Realistically he's going to end up getting resigned because he's the guy Phil traded for. The only other plausible scenario is to trade him for something right now and try and convince Carmelo to go with him. Then what's left will be a crap team that'll compete for a great prospect. Then the team is going to be mediocre or bad for the next 4 years until those prospects grow into men.

Thing is, Carmelo isn't going anywhere. He likes having a decent point guard and Rose is the most realistic, viable option long term right now.
