Games like what we are likely going to see play out tonight are when you just leave him in and let him see what he can do. If he fouls out it is not a big deal. Give the kid all the minutes tonight as far as I'm concerned!

Do the Suns not have a D league affiliate? Feel he could really use that time to improve and adapt, like Clint did for us

Yes, they do, in Northern Arizona, in Prescott. the NAZ Suns. Their twitter feed during games is entertaining, with all their gifs. Check out the ones during their last game.

These Rockets announcers are unbearable....Eric Gordon should be considered for the all star game apparently

Christmas party was tough for Bledsoe, I suppose.

When he drives and gets the calls... but banger in my head means, someone who uses there body and strength to out position their defenders.... Bender is very weak at the moment, he gets pushed around by 6'7 SFs with better builds than him...

I think I watch Suns games, because deep inside I want to torture myself...

It was a different situation for that Rockets team on Clint's rookie year. He was a luxury for Houston (and remember, I thought he was two years away at that point!).

For Phoenix I just don't see why they don't give Bender at least 20 minutes a night. I don't know what he is averaging, but as raw as he is, the guy has talent. I don't think that they are throwing him to the Wolves by giving him extended looks.

Getting shredded as a young guy can kill confidence for some, while shredding D League guys builds it up. Foreign players also gave to get assimilated to US culture while also learning the game and playing in lower level games makes it a bit easier. Just my opinion though, your way could very well be better lol

edit - Dear Suns fans, you should all know that ol' Mr. E has a real soft spot for Euro players, especially Central/Eastern European players...and my Swiss countryman, Clint Capela.

Yes, no reason not to play with the state of our team and their record, particularly when Chriss is just as raw, with a far lower bbiq getting minutes, and even starting. Bender is a very good passer and perimeter defender, and lately has been rebounding and blocking pretty well on a per minute basis. He doesn't usually get enough touches to truly get in flow offensively though. It's usually just to shoot a 3.

But 8 rebounds and 2 blocks in 11 minutes is pretty damn good.

Who gets left out of a starting guard spot? Westbrook, Curry or Harden?

Wow, Houston didn't even wait until halftime to take their usual nap!

I think that Curry is the odd man out this year because of A) Warriors fatigue; and B) Durant backlash. Plus, with fan & coach voting factored in I think that actually helps Harden. He seems to be much more well liked/respected by his peers than by most fans & media (even though the media is now in love with him this season).

I loved Drexler as a player, but goddammit I hate his voice and commentary. The other two sound like pro wrestling commentators

In many situations I would agree with that; but I don't think that it is applicable in this case (and not just because of the record). Bender just seems like a guy who can really benefit from time on the court, even if it is a tough love type of situation.
