I guess the Clippers are sorta kinda flawed without CP3. That lack of depth really hurts them.

If we do end up with back-to-back picks, I actually think that is incredibly valuable to teams. The idea of not passing over one guy for another at any position is appealing to a GM. Minny had to give up a young Foye and a prime Mike Miller plus more to get the 5th pick and go B2B, which there was a premium on. Granted, they screwed that up badly, but the point stands.

I'll always take a higher pick if possible, but back to back gives a GM a certain level of control which I'm sure is appealing. I think BC was quite happy having both Korkmaz and Luwawu available to take back to back with no chance of missing out on either one this past draft.

Right now he's looking like a potentially nice value pick in the 2nd round if he last all the way to our pick. He seems like just an average NBA athlete, which given his lack of size for a shooting guard, won't help him. He's having a great year though no question. Right near the top in PER.

He reminds me a lot of Aaron Afflalo, who isn't the best fit for us based on our glut at the wings, but when you're drafting as late as we are value picks are key no matter the position.

It's too early to be all in on anyone, but Cameron Oliver just seems like a great pick to play beside our centers. He's shooting lights out from 3 point range and is a great rim protector.

if by the end of the year, the clippers pick is below 25th, it was as steal IMO. Masai can find talent all over the board, but in a stacked draft, I like his chances even better!

The nice thing is that in a very deep draft, late first round picks have a bit more value, and when combined in a trade, might allow the Raptors to deal into the mid-to-late teens for a pick.

I'm fine with him keeping both of the firsts and the second rounder. I think if he's keeping more than one, he should consider using a pick on a draft and stash guy. Just so we don't add a bunch of prospects who's rookie deals expire before they ever find playing time.

His motor is great, but he can't shoot worth a lick and his rebounding hasn't translated. At all. The combination of shooting and rim protecting, along with his only being 20 years old is what I like. He's flawed, as is any player outside the top of the draft, but when a guy who is pretty raw still has a solid PER, I take that as a good sign. Not saying I'm locked in to Oliver, but he's high on my list of the guys I expect to be available in our range.
I'm also keeping a close eye on Jawun Evans, given Masai and Weltman's emphasis on highly productive collegiate players the past 2 drafts. Evans is only 20 as well and appears to fit the mold of what Casey wants from a starting guard. Mainly a lot of scoring and good(in Evans case, outstanding) 3 point shooting. He seems like a perfect Lowry replacement in a few years as his game is quite similar to Lowry. Pesky defender(2.3 steals a game), makes big shots and is fearless going at bigger defenders. Both just seem like players who will have NBA careers, which is all I want outside the top 10-15 in a draft. As they're both only 20 years old still, I think the potential of both is quite nice as well.
