Bledsoe has been doing his best this season. I don't expect him to turn into Nash. You have to admit that our FO hasn't exactly surrounded him with quality players.

Bledsoe has NEVER been the problem with this team. His distribution is underrated here. He is one of the best in the NBA at setting up open 3 point shots. He fills up the box score. He isn't a franchise caliber player--more of a 2nd or 3rd wheel, but he's an all-star caliber guy who is on a good deal and is young with some improvement still there to get better.

The problem is his age relative to Booker, Chriss, etc.. I would prefer Murray due to age but actually think Bledsoe has more value than just Murray in a trade.

I think you'll see us move Tucker and Knight, with the possibility of Chandler or Barbosa. I don't think Bledsoe is first on the trade line, but if we truly blow it up I'd rather get a package of good picks for him than Murray.

I got the inside scoop. We may be looking to trade several players and are looking into it and have opened dialogue with several teams who are willing to listen at this time. They feel some teams might be willing to make some moves before the trade deadline. But they are unlikely to make trades unless reasonable value is returning.

Have we ever figured out what's up with Paul Coro? Also, I never picked up on Paola Boivin being Traxxe...good info.

I guess I didn't catch Paola Boivin being Traxxe, but that is interesting if true. Love Paola Boivin. She'd make a great Suns beat writer. They should put her back on it. Coro is out, but not sure why. The new guy who said he'd be covering it mentioned it on twitter I think.

The Suns should hire Coro to do the sideline reporting at games or something and give us the updates like he did before tip off on twitter.

I cant confirm the first part, but can confirm the 2nd, and by confirm i mean that is NOT Traxxe's real identity. Keep on guessing guys, lol.

I have no idea if it has any merit to it but I read on another message board (ASFN, I think) that Coro might have engaged in unprofessional workplace behavior (after hours snooping among his colleagues workstations). IIRC, the "report" was nothing more than a "I heard from someone who heard from someone" which I would normally just dismiss as unsupported hearsay. The only reason I haven't completely dismissed it is because the abruptness of his absence and the absolute lack of information suggests that the exit is something out of the ordinary.

At one point, Traxxee said something about "being prettier" then another writer so I assumed Traxxee was a girl.

Traxxee seemed to imply that he/she/it knew the other AZ sports guys well.

If Traxxee isn't Paola, then I give up.

And yes SunsBum, you are an idiot for chasing away insiders. You may not have found their info useful, but many of us did. Must have felt good to stretch your internet ego and criticize insiders that were verified by forum mods. Good job dude. Thanks! Way to contribute to the forum.

Not getting into a war of words with you. I'm done. I spoke my mind.

I never understood the idea of chasing away insiders. In the NBA there are HUNDREDS of talks that happen among GMs throughout the year. And of those HUNDREDS, maybe 50 get reported by the dozens of reporters out there. and of those 50, maybe 10 or so actually happen throughout the year.

And here we are crucifying our own when they report something interesting that amounts to nothing.

I for one always LOVED hearing the potential talks that were happening....as it showed that the FO was actually looking at changes for the better. And here we are now, speculating blindly because there is NOBODY within the insider community ANYWHERE that either has information, or is willing to share it with the Suns community.

I'm fairly certain that Mods do get information behind the scenes. And i dont blame them one bit for keeping it from us.

I always thought it would be fun to document Colin Cowheards predictions and call him just to call him and say "Hey Colin, remember at the beginning of the season you said ______ would go 15-1 and they went 6-10? LOL, you dumb." And then i realized that it would just make me look like an ass. Here its just the same thing, and its 100x times easier because it's all documented for us bring up. And just because it's 100x easier, doesnt mean it's 100x more justifiable.

One thing you may not consider is that old insiders are chased away by new insiders because of a tight front office. There are people close for interesting tidbits, but nothing close to amount to anything. I think good solid research and speculation here by the die hard Suns fans probably could better give us the type of things McD may be pursuing. For example, when he became GM, I went through team by team, every roster, and figured the only team that might want Scola was Indiana, and Gerald Green matches up and maybe we get a late first. That happened, though I didn't anticipate Plumlee in the deal. Same with Gortat. I figured the only team that might go for him was Washington.

These things are not hard to figure out.

But many people talk about unrealistic trade possibilities or don't do research so sometimes those well researched trade ideas get buried beneath 50 trade ideas for a superstar.

Often times people will say "someone will trade for _________" or someone will offer RFA a ton of money, without going through the teams and thinking what possible teams might and if they even have the cap space to do it.

I'm all for hearing from insiders, but if anyone working for the Suns leaked anything from a McD conversation and it was figured out, they'd likely be fired immediately.

Every morning I wake up and check the news in hopes that the Suns traded Brandon Knight. Groundhogs day continues, he is still here!

There's a bad rumor floating around about why he was let go. It's so bad that I couldn't bring myself to ask him about it. I don't think he would tell me even if it were true though. I hope it's not, but with his sudden dismissal and the way the paper didn't address it AT ALL I'm concerned. He's always been very cool to me and would say hi when he came to town with the team.

Also, Paola is definitely not Traxxe.

Brandan Wright for P.J. Tucker?
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

Word. Last year, we had all identified the Raptors and the Wizards as two teams that could be interested in Markieff. It's not like Sacto being interested in our guards this year is a surprise.

The real interesting questions, to my mind, are: (1) are teams offering up the type of value that would make us consider trading Eric, and (2) if we do have a vet fire sale, what players are we targeting to receive in return? If we deal both Tucker and Chandler, one has to imagine we're getting actual contracts in return rather than draft assets.
