Did Manu take Kawhi's powers?

Also Warren could pass occasionally...

Someone needs to tell Parker and Ginobili that it's not 2005 anymore.

This is a problem for the entire team it's frustrating. If they don't get a dumb foul they just get beat off the dribble give up an open look.

Taking one for the team so Bender can play, because Tucker missing playing time would obviously be catastrophic.

I can't differentiate between joke and reality at this point

I dunno if there's much of a difference at this point.

I mentioned last game thread I wouldn't mind if he volunteered to sit if the FO let him know they want to showcase PJ for trade value but get Bender playing time, or if they approached him for the possibility. He has his contract and I think they know they want him here.

Wild speculation of course, but wouldn't surprise me.

So I got behind schedule, go to LA Fitness later than usual, start cardio, start following game thread and box score on ipad, through most of first half. Walk into locker room to hear them say Suns are shooting 68%, and then realize it was on Fox Sports SW here and I could have been watching on my cardio machine.

That was frustrating since it seems like one of the better games of the year and sound like Bender has played well. Love to watch a replay or at least all the Bender highlights after the game.

Problem is the more people watch these guys play the worse the value gets

Ouch Warren, that was very Tuckeresque.

Why doesn't Watson ever say anything to the players when they make a bonehead play?

Maybe unless they just want a defensive stopper and he shows he can do that. Not sure if he has lately after having that good stretch against AD and someone else.

Suns coach Earl Watson on his brief time working in the Spurs organization. Watson coached with the team's D-League affiliate: "Oh, man, Pop and R.C. and Scott Layden, that group kind of took me in at a time when I was very fragile in my life. My brother had just been murdered. I went to his funeral on a Saturday and came here to meet with the Spurs on Monday.

Three days. In the time I was here I could feel it was a special place. I guess you could say I got lucky because I ended up in a place that wasn't about basketball; it was about family and love. And through that entire time I was here they were very supporting of me and my entire family. Very interactive and making sure it was fun being around basketball and the rest is pretty much history. They kind of took me and planted me somewhere else to be a coach. I'm very, very grateful."

Also guards have had Bender open on a kickout for almost every play. I guess contested floaters are more efficient shots...
