Didn't stop him from going one on three!

Maybe he was drugged?!

Seriously tho, if he wasn't sick, I hope he would have started.

Tracking players performance vs the Bulls 28 Dec 2016.

Sad to lose at the end (but we did win the other game by using the last shot too)....

By GCP
Lopez - 64
Kilpatrick - 30
Booker - 27
Foye - 20
Hamilton - 15
Bogdanovic - 12
Whitehead - 11
RHJ - 8
Levert - 8
Dinwiddie - 0

Best offensive effort = Booker and Lopez (10), best defensive effort = nothing worth mentioning.

Opponents GCP (for comparison)
J.But - 88
R.Ron - 29
R.Lop - 27
D.Wad - 23
T.Gib - 17
DMD - 13
N.Mir - 12
C.Fel - 11
MCW - 9
J.Gra - 0

Best 5 players average comparison NEts (31) vs Bulls (37) - we are net negative 6 - so to have kept it close is really a good performance, loss expected.

still mad that we gave that one away. we outplayed them on both ends and that is despite really sketchy officiating in the 3rd.

Hopefully Kenny learns from that. Trusting guys is fine but that situation was just all kinds of wrong. Give me RHJ on the team's best perimeter guy, if RHJ gets schooled or messes up i'd rather have that then putting the team's worst defender in a really bad spot. That wasn't fair to the team or Bojan for that matter.

I missed the last minute but I got the gist of it from the comments. KA goofed, poor officiating.

So who was on the floor in that last play when Butler drained the GW?

I think it was:

SKil/Foye/Bogs/Booker/Brook

We don't know how sick RHJ was.

I wasn't able to watch the game but it sounds like we played real well especially Brook. All Star voting has started and I hope everyone casts some ballots for him.

Good point.

I mean literally there wasn't a good option defensively on the floor. :noway:

Still can't believe we just like Bogs go 1v1 on Butler and didn't immediately double. Butler was draining all his last jumpers. I just knew it was good before he even released it. Like doing warm-ups.

I would have put
RHJ (even if sick)
LeVert
Whitehead
Booker

On Butler....not Bogs.

Its one on one in the NBA last second isolation... offensive guy always has the advantage there. sure bogs is probably one of the worst choices in that spot... however i think anyone you put there its the wrong choice.

you basically allow the Bulls best player to drain the clock, get the last shot, and go 1 on 1.

you HAVE to instantly double, force the ball out of his hands, make them going quicker and either force a tougher shot or foul at the rim/allow a quick basket.

Kenny made the wrong move for sure... but it was not to double team.

That said, all the blame cant go on kenny. up 7 with 2 minutes no excuses. Lopez missed 2 or 3 straight shots, we got no stops, and Foye missed 2 free throws. it shouldnt have come down to having to stop butler on a last possession shot.
