Hayward and first should be enough.

I know you're being sarcastic, but Hayward is likely going to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. You could make him an offer then, instead of trading assets for half a season of him, after which he could bolt.

Hayward is a guy I think would fit like a glove with Simmons and Embiid so I would throw a lot of money at him and hope for the best. If he does end up testing the market he will have plenty of options and I'm not quite sure we would even peak his interest.

I don't know. The Jazz fanbase is somewhat split on this. Personally, neither outcome will surprise me, and I wouldn't begrudge him if he left. I think it's about 60-40 he stays, and yes, Boston seems like the best option for him if he chose to leave.

Hayward is a guy who will fit anywhere. High BBIQ, and can play and guard multiple positions. It will take the max to get him (he'll get that from the Jazz too, most likely). I agree that if he'll choose to test the market, Philly probably won't be high on his list, which is why I don't know why you'd want to give up assets and trade for him for half a season, after which he'd be likely to bolt.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Okafor has to learn how to draw fouls when he shoots instead of always trying to avoid contact and score. Especially against a guy like Gobert.

Of the bigs, Nerlens moves the best off ball around the rim by far.

Sixers defense has been pretty nice the last few minutes. Even Saric doing a nice job.

Everytime Covinton shoots the ball it's basically a turnover

How many wide open corner 3s can you give up in a game?

Sixers reliance on switching defense constantly puts them in a position to where they have to help to much. Sixers have to lead the league in situations where PGs end up defending bigs.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
