Otherwise I still think there's a lot of ways we could go. I'm not willing to reach much but I'd be willing to trade up down or out of this draft. I'd also probably be willing to draft any position, although probably only PG if he was a star or a wing if he can play multiple positions.

I think he is supposed to play on Monday. If he could be healthy is a near perfect fit for this team.

Yup all signs right now pointing that hes a go for limited minutes tomorrow.

Scouts considering this one of the better drafts in a decade and we gave it away for Payne :banghead:

I think it is lotto protected for a few years then becomes second rounders.

Lonzo Ball is what Wolves wanted from LaVine as a PG lol. Philly going to be crazy if they could get Ball/Simmons/Embiid

I don't think anyone thought Lavine would be what Lonzo Ball is. Ball is a smart but athletically average player. He's closer to a Rubio that can shoot.

I wasn't high on Isaac coming into the season, but he seems like a really good fit for our roster. I'd take him for OG, but I wouldn't be upset with a trade back where we get another asset or vet.

Lonzo Ball is not close to Rubio. He is LaVine with much better vision. He has same body type and similar struggles on defense as a young dude. Can fill it up on the long ball and has great length but not good at using yet like LaVine. Got that great first step and is really fluid too. He is not an average athlete lol. He is explosive and can jump out of the building.

Not that anyone thought LaVine would be what Ball is, but that's the type of PG they hoped he could become.

I've watched him a couple times. He's a better athlete than Rubio but still nowhere near Lavine. He's not particularly explosive IMO.
Just looking at the draft board, the most common comparison is Jason Kidd and he's mostly called a B+ athlete.

If the pick ends up in that 7-8th range that would be ideal, either Isaac or Anunoby make a ton of sense for this team, I'd suspect Thibs will go with OG and he probably fits better next to offensive studs, I think I will lean OG due to his mix of shooting ability and defense, Isaac is more of a long-term guy either way, gonna need to add strength and I think he is solely a 4, OG probably could play more spots.

If this team doesn't make a run then I fully expect this pick to get packaged with (80% of the posters her are gonna kill me)... Rubio for the best we can get.

He doesn't look nearly as explosive as Lavine just based off of that video but admittedly I haven't had a chance to watch much CBB this season

I would take Dennis Smith over Ball for sure.

This guy is such a beast! Put the ball anywhere near the rim, and he's throwing it down hard.

I would love him if his wingspan can be two inch longer

He would be a little bit on the short side for a center, you are correct about that. However, I think it's ok because he is such a superior athlete (and a 7'1.5 wingspan isn't terrible by any means). He reportedly has a 39 inch vertical, which is absurd for a 6'10 255 pound guy. He also has very good lateral quickness, meaning that he would be able to switch onto smaller players which is the direction the NBA is headed with its big men.

It looks like we're hitting a groove right now and it wouldn't surprise me if we continue to play at a higher level for the rest of the season. We're currently sitting 7th in the draft order, so assuming we continue on an upward trajectory, it's a fair guess that we will be drafting around 10-12. That's about where most of the mock drafts have him being drafted. Lucky for us this looks to be a very strong draft, and he probably wouldn't be available that late in most other drafts.

I see why people want Adebayo, but I actually wonder if Marques Bolden would be a better skill set fit with this team. Plus, hard to argue against a 7-6 wingspan.
