I still think Knight could be good in a limited role, with guys like Wade or Butler to keep him in line. Or say if he was on the Spurs, having Pop pull him and scream in his face for a minute after he does something dumb. He needs that. This year Watson told him to chuck to his heart's content. Last year he was hurt and he was the only offense besides a rookie Devin Booker.

Knight to the Bulls would not be a bad idea. What do we get back in that miraculous trade?

Rondo + '17 1st. As I've said, I view that as the offer to beat.

Indiana might be willing to do Ellis and a 1st. I could see Atlanta being willing to unload Bazemore along with Taurean Prince, but that would give us four rookies - yeesh. If Orlando can't do better, maybe they offer up LAL '19. There's also a minute chance that the Bucks have a bit of seller's remorse, but I can't imagine them giving up a pick to get BK back.

In other words, if nothing else, I would expect a repeat of last year's deadline. McD might prefer to do it sooner, if only to get Ulis into the lineup. I don't doubt he would prefer Ulis playing as well at this point.

Obviously not working.

The only question is: Sell high on Bledsoe before he blows out his knee again? I don't want to give him another max contract.

or

Sell Knight in the middle of his worst season ever and hope to get back decent value?

I like Bledsoe a lot but...come on...if teams offer a good return, isn't in everyone's best interest to get him to a playoff team in exchange for the right assets in return?

With no footsteps being him, Knight can relax, chuck us into the lottery, inflate his stats, and we move him on draft day.

PG's are cheap these days. We'll find a replacement for both of them.

This rockets rumor with Koufos is interesting. Maybe we can swing a 3-team trade with the Kings and Rockets. Knight to the Kings and Koufos to the Rockets. Who would we be interested in from the Rockets?

Rockets don't need to trade anyone. If they do it will be for their own benefit only. Pass on helping Dantoni.

I really hope we can get Hoiberg. I think he would do much better than Watson.

Bledsoe is a heck of a individual player... He suits a team with a star player that makes everyone else better and create plays. On the Suns its so obvious he gets his numbers but no impact to his team mates. He is best as ISO player on the Suns... He is a forced play maker and its not natural.

Knight is a ball dominant player that doesnt make anyone else better as well. And plays for himself.

The entire Suns team minus maybe the really young guys... Play for themselves and the box score.

Heck Booker has become a chucker and closer to a poor man's JR Smith this season so far.

Len forces shots... His defense is fine... But taking on defenders one on one as if he is a skilled offensive big man is cringe worthy hence why he is a sub 45% FG inside player.

Chandler plays for stats, Tucker plays for stats... Fights his team mates for rebounds.

Chriss is a highly impressionable player due to his age and lack of organized basketball experience... He needs to be around smart players... And suns lack that.

Suns chose Barbosa at 5 million a year over Goodwin at 1 million a year in a losing season... Terrible decision.

Dudley is probably one likeable player that probably regrets signing with Suns... He should be on a playoff team.

Bender who is a top 4 pick is only getting minutes because of the backlash from the online community.. Watson wants to win and he will sacrifice development to get that... Well thats a failure so far.

I still watch the games... But Its a torture.

Suns should go full blown Youth ASAP. Everyone over 25 are traded away... Keep Dudley and hopefully he accepts.. Maybe become Suns's Version of Collison or Haslem.

Get a top 3 pick....

Fire Watson and get a coach who knows how to create plays.

Very interesting ... small ball is here to stay until we start seeing highly developed centers who can score effectively in the post. Doubt we will ever see another Tim Duncan if college coaches are giving up on the post game based on analytics.

I can't see who they'd give up. Definitely not someone who can shoot the 3. It would be best if we could just get a pick. Not sure if they own their first, or if they think it would be worth trading for Koufos. It would probably be a very late pick though so maybe.

I don't know about you guys but when I think about expert analytics/future trends the first name that comes to mind is Dan Dantoni.

Definitely would love a Rondo for Knight swap.

By a wide margin (Mozgov is next +67 on him). For lols, Curry leads the league at +409. When Curry is playing, his team has scored 665 more points than the Suns have with Knight on the floor.

Don't read too much into this plus/minus. It is one stat, but player value is based off way more than that. Put a star player next to these guys and your plus/ minus will still not be good. The team as a while has to be playing well while you are on the floor for your own personal plus/minus to go us. Less scoring for the Suns as a while, means less plus/minus to go around. For the Suns with their record there will be a lot of people with personal plus/minus far into the negative because of it. Bad record will lead to that. Give it some time.

All that said, I would much prefer not to be on that list once, let alone twice.

IMO, Len is on that for 1 reason only. Because of the person he shares the court with most of the time he is on the floor. Another reason Knight leads though is because he was getting heavy minutes. Most bad players don't get heavy minutes and therefore won't accumulate a big minus in each game.

I don't think Len is as bad as that indicates either, but I do think Knight is. He's still -12 per 36, which is really bad.

Obviously that is bad, but have you tried sorting by per 36 and if so, what is he ranked then?

On that site I don't think there's a way to account for players that have played really bad in the 3 minutes they've played all season, so some are like... -56 in per 36. He's still pretty far down when you look t players that actually play. Like... didn't have to scroll down that far.
