This is good news. The fact it's not a torn ACL or something is a complete gift from the basketball gods.

Yeah hopefully it doesn't escalate beyond a bone bruise. We can live with him missing a couple of weeks and slide Deng to PF in 2nd units. We should make a trade for a back up SF if possible.

Sorry to be a bearer of bad news but if this is a bone bruise and not a muscle bruise then it will take a minimum of 2-3 months for the average person. As for a basketball player, I think Nance can heal faster but he also must be able to deal with the physical part as an athlete.

This is a bummer as the team was finally getting healthy again and playing much better...

I love the effort and BBIQ of Nance but he has a penchant for getting injured. Bone bruises are not an insignificant issue. Most degenerative conditions start out as bone bruises. If he's moving already it shows it was not a serious one and that's great news.

We really miss his and Black's ability to move to the open positions on the floor. That is such a large part of the second unit's success.

I have none. He was standing in the "tunnel" last night so I'm assuming he's in there receiving treatment during the games.

Nance is on schedule to return within 2 weeks. He resumed shooting!
