I saw a list of all the guys with legal problems Stoops let play and it's pretty bad.

That Gopher program though...that's a mess right now. Even with the boycott ending, there are some saying that they should pull out of the bowl game. It's basically Sex Boat: College Edition but worse. I know that stuff proabably goes on at other schools too, but taking video took it to another level. At best they probably lose a decent amount of student/alum support for a bit.

This guy from SDSU "breaking" Ron Dayne's rushing record couldn't be any more phony. He gets to count bowl games but Dayne doesn't? Ok NCAA.

Yeah, it's stupid that they just don't go back and retroactively count bowl games if that's what they're going to start doing.

Dayne rushed for 7,125 yards if you count bowl games.

I don't think I ever realized this. Obviously I knew he sat out a year, but I didn't know he was classifying it as a redshirt season. Jesus. If anything, as a runningback, that helped his NFL draft stock by not having the wear and tear of three collegiate seasons.

Based on early Bowl action with the Gophs and NW beating a couple of decent teams, the Big 10 is looking like the strong conference we thought it was. If Michigan and OSU hold serve, I'll feel pretty confident headed into the Cotton Bowl.

Wonder how it actually went down. It wasn't a traditional gift card and more like a $450 limit and you grab what you want in a 90-minute grab. No idea with the total value or how it was organized. Did he try throwing in an extra watch in a bag that was part of the promotion and hoped no one was counting or did he try something (that I feel is more criminal) and snag highly valuable stuff in his pockets and jacket? I could see these events having a limit of "$450" and the coaches and store owners giving off a "blind eye" to go over that limit. It just seems like a weird promotion to have. Just give them the gift card to buy online.

Wonder when Bielema plans on competing for those national championships or at the very least something like the Sugar Bowl.

Great game. I want the B10 to do well but I also love seeing Harbaugh lose.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Not sure if this is of interest to anyone on this board, but it sounds like Minnesota is going to let Tracy Claeys go. This is per a really solid insider and another that's not so solid. Somewhat controversial given the fact they won the most games since 2003 this season and have now won back to back bowl games. I think Minnesota is going to finish dead last in B1G recruiting this cycle though. Rumor is also that the new AD already has his guy lined up (probably still coaching) and it could be announced Wednesday after Claeys is let go Tuesday. The two names being thrown around are PJ Fleck and the Boise State coach who was hired by the current Minnesota AD when he was at Boise.
