I like Kilpatrick, but he'll be better served as a 6th man scorer, and not a starter. He's a better when his role is simplified.

That being said, no excuse for not putting a body on a man on a shot attempt. That's piss poor basketball

And this is why as much as I love Skil, is it better for Marks to try and acquire a guy like Brandon Knight for Bogs/Hamilton/CMac and Skil?

Not that Knight is a great defender, or a very good player either, but he has a much more advanced, yet similar skillset and has been known as a defender in the past. Doubt he ever lives up to past hype, but the right coach might turn him into a very solid player.

Skil and Bogs are both going to get sizable paydays this offseason, if a move like that is there, I hope Marks takes it and I have honestly soured on Knight overall. But this team needs to take low risk moves like that if they're there imho. Worst case Knight is paid a little less then the others are combined and provides the same nightly headache with more frequent wow nights.

Great defensive substitution by Kenny there. Lopez was KILLING us defensively on the 1-5/3-5 PnR plays from Utah, he brings in RHJ, moves Booker to Center, and all of a sudden we can force Hayward into a tough shot because now we can switch on all screens.

Kenny is going to have to do that a lot more. Lopez gives us zero resistance on those plays. Its frustrating because Whitehead is out there busting his ass defensively.

Quinn Snyder was an assistant with Bud and Atkinson in Atlanta before getting hired with Utah. Same system but ran differently due to personnel.
