OK, I took a ten day sabbatical and now I'm satisfied my work this past day is done seeing as how the tribe is mostly ready to move on from this godforsaken BS Melo era. That pleases me. Not everyone is a naive cult member after all. Cheers!

Hornacek had a below .500 record in Phoenix and now in NY but no he isn't the problem. I guess another 30 games is what it will take to show he isn't the right fit for this team.
there's only 2 great coaches in the nba
pop and thibs, the rest are baby sitters. if you have a coach that has smart rotations, calls timeouts at the right moment, draws up plays after a timeout then you're better than most.

Okay so what was the problem the last few years ..Was rose on the team ? Jeff is a problem as well he doesn't coach defense if you think a young squad is going to become a good team or a playoff team overnight you're insane .
I'm sick of blaming every new player that comes in here .We blame lin, lopez ,kidd ,billups ,felton ,chandler, had enough of the b.s
Melo is the problem when you're a "leader" and you don't give a **** it's like a "Trickle down effect" with the whole team .
So tell me how did JR Smith and shumpert win a title in Cleveland ? Because they have a "Great leader " Who cares more about winning than being your best friend " its that simple .
in case anyone has notice " lebron is the pg for cavs he averages more assist at times than there own pg Kyrie Irving .Who's another ballhog but they're still winning, so enough with the excuses . A leader who cares and holds there team responsible is someone that will get good results at the end ..Period .
Edit: Sorry, misread.
I agree.

Add the Bulls sending us a 1st rd pick too this year btw.
They'd be sending that pick to Miami because you'd have to be on some vicious blow to trade Dracic for Rondo. Like hardcore cocaine.
They cut Dragic's salary in half with that deal. Other rumors have him being traded for Rubio. That much of a difference?
That's all they get. Dragic can play. He may not fit but why give him away just to cut his salary...and get Rondo, who can't even work with Wade and Butler, in return? They'd probably prefer Rubio just for his attitude alone over Rondo.

I dont think you can put up a Dleague level team in New York from the get go, so the best cover for Tank Job is? Fill the team with talented but inconsistent and injury prone players that gonna miss a lot of time, who at max will stay for the duration of Tank Process, happens to be same window with Ws Cavs dynasty too

Re: Magic PG: So Let Me Get This Straight...
As much as I don't care for Lin as a player and wasn't upset to see him walk.. it's clear to me as ever that Melo sabatoged that team, and then proceeded to demoralize the next roster the year after Kidd left which is what basically got Phil hired and Tyson Chandler shipped out of town.
I didn't respect the way Chandler pouted and played like dick that year, but I knew he was stronger mentally than Carmelo. I hated Melo that year and I knew Tyson had good reason to be mad. He was the first teammate of Melo's to indirectly call him out in the media for his selfish play.
I've said it before here... if any of you guys have even played so much as a handful of pickup games at the local courts.. you know how maddening and discouraging it is to play with a ball-hog like Melo. It's the biggest problem the Knicks have had since they traded for the guy. And they've had plenty of other problems since that trade. But even a guy like JR can't weigh a team down as much as Melo's nonchalant, yet selfish style of play. Not at nearly 30 million a year and with a NTC. This sucks.

Lol (New Knicks Player ) melo isn't new . It was probably lee or maybe Noah or it could be rose .Because he says he hates losing and it gets him depressed when his team doesn't win .So maybe one of those three .But maybe Noah since he so called "wanted to be an animal" for this team .

Re: Magic PG: So Let Me Get This Straight...
I'm going to open my BS notebook and put more BS into it. Let's see, Phil actually has a systematic (triangle) and elaborate scheme (media interviews) of tanking this season. It's beautiful to watch. Hire Jeff who's coaching philosophy is opposite to him (misdirection) and then non-challant gives Jeff authority to hire any assistants. But unknowingly traps him. How? Jeff looks like someone who like's to give back to his boss, easy way to do that to Phil is hire his buddy Rambis.El Poochio wrote:Its hard to see smart people like Dolan PJax Mills Houston and whoever is involved in front office to not realize what has been wrong with Knicks for past decades, not being bad enough, I genuinely think Tank Job could have been priority without doing blatantly, just like the last one we did, they are the New York Knicks, not Sixers, one of the biggest and most valuable franchises, they need to keep a face on, team not competing due to injuries is a better excuse
Trading Rolo was part of that conspiracy too maybe, and let Rose miss some games![]()
Team started to fade (initiation of the master plan) as soon as Phil ended his relationship with Jeanie (commitment to the cause), coincidence? Or just another piece of the long term puzzle
Aha! Phil's winking at us the moment a paparazzi snap that stolen photo of them (Phil, Mills and Jeff) coming out of a restaurant.
The sabotage is clear (Rambis) the moment Jeff hire that goon. The pieces then collapse in its place; Noah injury in preseason, Rose trial and consequently missing practice (great excuse to not form a defensive scheme), pour money into the future assistant coach Lance Thomas, Phil already planted Sasha last season and he accomplished his mission in seducing KP.
So why do all this to tarnish his rep? Phil believes in the Basketball Gods. And the Bball gods hate tanking. It taints the sport. No sane coach or player or anyone involved in bball will confess to tanking in fear of divine retribution.
Phil and the Knicks are now in the process of tanking but in disguise of the team self destructing. Phil made a choice. It was cemented when e broke up with Jeanie. Phil has one goal in mind now. And Lord have mercy, it will be both the most ugly and beautiful basketball that will ever grace the court. KP is a mere glimpse of that bball heaven. PJax and his ring studded fingers will opened the bball heavenly gates to NY

Living in South Florida, I always hear fans/radio/media trashing Dragic's defense too. Rondo would be a big upgrade in that department...he fits into that defensive culture.
Him and Whiteside are cut from the same cloth personality wise...those crazy bastards might actually be a good match for each other.
I dunno...just an idea. 100% chance it doesn't happen tho haha.

Those dudes were truly underappreciated while they were here together. Melo got the lion's share of the credit. Yet time has proven they were the true reason for our only winning season (54 W's) in well over a decade.
Kidd gets so much undeserved credit for that year. The guys mainly responsible for our success were melo, JR, Tyson, and Felton.
