Honestly 2016 was the most transformative year for the sport that I can think of. Awesome video that highlights the year that was.

Cody has the potential to be a massive draw if he can secure some more wins. If I'm the wwe money machine, I try to give him one more highlight fight and then pray that they can put on a Connor vs Cody 150 catch weight fight and make more money than three PPVs combined.

I don't understand why Khabib makes so much more than Ferguson anyway. Ferguson has been a headliner for them as well as a multiple time performance bonus winner. I guess Khabib could be a potential key into Russia but he's probably cost them more in surgeries than he's made them to this point.

This guy is joining the UFC booth. Don't think he meshes with Rogan.

Todd Grishem is going to be announcing the UFC? Really? Yikes.
When the wwe passes you up for the likes of Michael Cole, you know you aren't that good.
I'm not too excited about this move.

I wonder what the contract numbers are for Khabib and Tony. Because the unofficial numbers I found had Khabib making 57K for his last fight and Tony making 118K for his. :dontknow: Khabib is a boss, though.

I'm guessing Khabib has some Dagestani war lord money to be able to throw $200k at Tony

War Machine turns down two plea deals, trial date officially set in Christy Mack case

Koppenhaver, 35, faces over 30 charges including two counts of attempted murder for an alleged brutal assault carried out against Mack and her friend, Corey Thomas, in Aug. 2014 which left Mack suffering from numerous injuries included a punctured lung and several broken bones. The attempted murder charges carry a possible sentence of life in prison.

Koppenhaver has been incarcerated since his apprehension in mid-2014.

On Thursday, the former MMA fighter turned down two separate plea deals offered by the state of California — one for 16 years to life in prison, and the other for 18 to 40 years. After several delays, his trial is now scheduled to begin next month.

I still can't believe that relationship didn't work out.

Heard Masvidal was on Joey Diaz podcast, so listening. My god, I know Rogan has an informal setup and doesn't do any prep for his podcasts, but at least he generally asks questions and engages his guests. This is ridiculous. Joey Diaz is talking I'd say more than 80% of the time about his childhood, food he likes, etc. His cohost asked Masvidal a question about weightcutting and Joey interrupted to answer the question and somehow turned it into a 10 minute rant about comedy and skiing and pastrami sandwiches and I'm not exaggerating this. Really annoying because I like Masvidal and his interviews.

Also, his cohost is one of those dudes who doesn't enunciate well due to being fat and that drives me nuts (never saw a pic but there's no way he's not overweight). It doesn't help that he's doing something to become intoxicated during the show and he's slurring more and more as it goes.

Joey has some funny stories but I really don't see why Rogan and his friends put him on some sort of pedestal.. To them, he can do no wrong and he's the funniest mf'er alive. And every time he talks fights, he sounds like the most casual fan ever. He'd say things like, "he just had that look!" or "something was off about him, I can't explain it but something was off"......

Yea, he was saying he can tell who is going to win a fight based on whether they died their hair and/or their demeanor at the weigh-in. I don't even care about that though, I care about him dominating 80%+ of the conversation. Well, that and how loudly he breathes or snores or whatever he does into the mic.

So Khabib supposedly didn't want Also because Ferguson was a more legit contender but now he wants to fight Chiesa? Lol.

He's a good fighter but compared to Aldo?

Doubt it's coincidence that Khabib matches up much better vs Chiesa and/or Tony than Aldo.

Khabib just wants to fight a top ranked LW so they can't deny him the next title shot. Barboza and Dariush are the only other guys in the top 10 not coming off of a loss and they've already signed on to fight each other.
