The more we lose, the better we'll be. SVG can't be stubborn for long with such a messy record.

That's a nail in the coffin. I don't care about this team anymore.

He wants personalities he can "handle" because of his situations in Miami and Orlando - so he takes lesser skilled/motivated players with less ego or passion it seems to make his coaching job easier. A GM might say "You're the coach getting paid millions, make this ego work in your lockerroom because he's a great player".

There is no alpha dogs on this team - on purpose.

I like this team too and appreciate the enthusiasm, but a streak away from what? 7-8th seed? We're destined to be mediocre with this bunch.

An expensive mediocre bunch.

It was a very entertaining game to watch. Pistons make a couple of huge runs to make it interesting and there was no shortage of offense. IMO the difference between the Pacers and the Pistons right now is our best player can create his own shot when we need a bucket and your best player relies on someone feeding him in the post. I've always liked SVG and I'm not really sure why, but will be rooting for you guys to get on a bit of a roll.

In terms of players only, yeah. I really like Turner as a center. But he would still be buried behind Drummond for the Pistons so the fit was off then and is still off now. I don't think it's very likely Myles would be usurping minutes from Andre whether he should or not.

This team, man... I don't know. Big changes are needed and it probably starts at point guard and center. Building around Jackson and Drummond just isn't working defensively and there's a very good chance it never will. Can't win anything significant like that.

Pacers fan here, Myles started at the 4 for us last year. Part of me still believes he's better off there. If you could play Drummond and Turner, whew. That would be interesting. I don't think Turner will ever be an elite rebounder. They would compliment each other on both ends. Turner is and will continue to be an elite shot blocker too.

That said, Drummond seemed ..... Blah. Energy wise he didn't seem the same. Was that just tonight? I don't even know what his stats were but I remember in previous games his energy and athleticism jumped out at me. It didn't today.

A 4 offensively maybe, defensively not a chance. Not with the way teams are playing now. It was really fun to watch Drummond and Turner play with the contrasting styles last night.

I'm telling ya. They need to go back to the Ish Smith, KCP, Harris, Morris, Drummond lineup. It was clicking than and they were actually blowing out teams. They were really efficient until Reggie came back.

we blew a struggling version of the Atlanta Hawks and a tired version of the Charlotte Hornets, in b2b. that stretch was not that probative.

Its been a tough stretch no doubt but I'm still not ready to give up. SVG is who he is, its funny how so many can be so up and so down him in a second. There's no trade to happen...there's not even that much on the market right now. Break it down for who- Rondo? Millsap? Gay? Dragic? I'll pass.

Mook has been in a funk offensively and he really needs to find his rhythm back. It overlooked how important he is for this team offensively. Usually when he's on, we're playing very well. I really would love to go back to Tobias in the starting lineup, Leuer can't guard guys like Durant, George, Giannis etc that he's been switched onto in these first lineups. His role was great off the bench, shouldn't have messed with it. Reggie hasn't been perfect but dude missed two months to start, of course he wasn't going to come back perfect. He's had his moments lately though, I think he'll be fine.

It takes one reaaaally good outing to get the confidence back. I'm hoping it starts very, very soon.
