Another game, another tough opponent.. it seems for now like every matchup is not too easy for Mo-Town. Have we got any chances to comeback? I know, everybody on east is unconsistent but we are just a bad team overall this season. Can this team start playing some sort of defense? COME ON! DETROOIT BASKETBAAALL!

RJ over the last 3 games has a 48% overall shooting percentage 44% from behind the arc and averaging 8 assists. Seems he's starting to get his legs back. Now let's play some D.

Got these stats of Mlive from a poster

In the last 7 games Reggie has averaged 18 pts, 7 ast, 3 rbs, 3.3 tov, 36% 3pt%, 47% fg% and 95% ft%.

In the last 10 games they have given up 109 points per game and have gone 2-8.

In the first 6 games with Reggie back starting they gave up only 91.3 points per game and went 3-3 in that stretch even though Reggie was struggling getting his legs back under him.

I think the reality of it is, Stan preached defense and Reggie doesn't play defense... then Reggie comes back is given his starting role again and doesn't play defense. Everyone else isn't going to bust their ass on the defensive end if the guy getting the most shots isn't also busting his ass playing defense. You need your best players to also be your hardest working players to really have the entire team buy into the concept and that's never going to be the case with someone like Reggie... who should probably be more instant offense off the bench so opposing starting PG's aren't lighting him up.

Pretty good thought. Really I think that's what happened, our defense dropped off huge once Reggie came back.
I think our offense has been fine, our defense has been the killer. It's like everyone stopped trying on defense once Reggie came back.

For the first 6 games RJ was back only gave up 91.3 ppg tho, the next 10 games was 109 ppg. So we had good D first 6 he was back

So what if it's not exactly how you expected it, but Pistons kill em. What if it's way better than you expected and we get blown the F out. What scenario you want? lol. Hopefully it looks about how you expected and we blow them the F out or at least get the W

Drummond's shooting and swishing 3's in the warmup but is a lock to brick a few FT's today. I think Drummond must have flashbacks of missing game winning free throws in a middle school playoff game when he's on the line lol
