Wow, I honestly don't think Kyrie should even be an all-star, let alone start and be first place in backcourt voting... Lowry, Kemba, Wall, and Thomas are all better. Kyrie is basically a rich mans Jamal Crawford, but who has the luxury of playing with Lebron.

Kembas numbers are still frigging awesome. his on/offs, efg%, RPM, VORP, all put him clearly as second best pg in the east. The guy is so bleeping underrated, there is some monster thread on GB proclaiming IT a superstar because he hits 4 more FTs a game while playing zero defense.

EDIT- wall has an argument too

Kemba's problem is that IT's game is getting stronger as the season progresses. In January IT is averaging this line: 31.3 ppg, 49.3% FG, 47.1% 3PT, 92.7% FT, 3.7 boards, 6.1 ast

That is incredible.

Kemba's biggest problem still remains Wade and all the lemmings voting him over Derozan to be a starter.

But yeah, IT is killing it.

if true, this is good news for Kemba since it knocks Wade out of an automatic spot.

I posted this in the Kemba thread. I couldn't find this thread. If you need to move my post that's cool. You would think this is Great news for Kemba but who knows? He will probably still get screwed somehow.

Unless we continue the losing skid I think Kemba makes it over Wade.

When are the reserves announced? Is it next Thursday? I think we can beat everyone but the Warriors before then.

Usually about 3 weeks before the game so around the weekend after this upcoming weekend.

TNT just showed graphics that said both the media and players agreed on the top five guards: Derozan, Irving, Wall, Thomas, and Lowry. So they're all in, question becomes if they add ANOTHER PG over Wade.

Kemba getting in still means they most likely select 5 point guards and 6 backcourt players in all - both wild card spots going to point guards. It's very likely that at least one of those wild card spots goes to another front court player. I don't see any way that Kemba is not the 5th point guard in the pecking order behind - Kyrie (starter), IT, Wall and Lowry.
