I must say Greenie's post on protecting Melo might be one of the most flawed fallacy filled arguments I've ever seen in my life.

There are a plethora of people that are anti-Melo because
A. He's lost a significant amount of athleticism
B. He retired from bully ball
C. He doesn't play any defense anymore
D. He's an aging vet on a rebuilding team
E. Hes a ball stopper that is regulated to spot up shooting

None of these flaws in his game have anything to do with him being a spoiled brat. It has everything to do with being a declining player that hasn't looked in the mirror yet.

Somebody brought up race again? Why is that allowed? Nobody cares what color any of the players are. Melo is the star veteran player. And more is expected from him than any other player on this team.

Last nights game is what Melo should be. Why can't he pass like that more? He makes great passes and he should try to average 7 assists a game.

If a player can do that and they don't and then they do after being criticized for it then maybe there's something to pushing for these guys to produce when they are top dog and paid a king's ransom. But it is all part of the larger enchilada. So I hope people do keep pushing him to play up to his potential and keep evolving to compensate for loss of athleticism.

I never went at you for not liking Melo. You haven't liked dude in years and always built it around his play.
