I'd love to have Bosh, but let's be honest: The chances of him being cleared by doctors, the Bulls wanting to take that risk, and him choosing the Bulls is about 5%.

I don't think he'll be cleared, but I'd welcome him if he was and wanted to join Chicago.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Millsap it is then lol. Take a gamble and offer 2 1st with filler and I bet we trump a lot of offers.

It's a damn shame Jimmy doesn't have more fan votes for the all-star game.

I thought I read that he was going to get waived by the Heat in Feb, and then take the year off and get re-evaluated. So if by some miracle he gets waived, I think he would still be owed his contract right?

Then maybe he would be willing to play for less money here if Wade and Jimmy could convince him to come here. It is a big IF though that he would get cleared by the Doctors.

MCW/Grant
Wade/Valentine
Butler/McDermott
Mirotic/McDermott
Gibson/Felicio

Roll it out. See what happens.

Instead of salivating over draft picks we need to use our draft picks to get players that can help now.

If the Kings keep it up we should have 2 quality picks to bundle this summer.

Cavs trade their 1st rounders, because they know rookies and young players aren't going to help you win or compete for titles.

Not saying Bulls FO needs to go crazy with trading first rounders, but they need to get more established vets.

Not disagreeing with you, but the Cavs 1st would be right at the end of the 1st. With this being a .500 team, the 1st rounder is more desirable (and also would hold more value).

I do see the draft as a chance to acquire a high ceiling talent that might be difficult through other means with a well placed pick, though.

Well that's what I mean by don't get crazy. If you put a certain protection on it or something like that.

While it's frustrating when they miss their open 3's, I would say these are 2 good back to back games over all by Doug and Niko.

If they could play like this more consistently, I think the team would play with more consistency in general.

At this point, I don't care to talk philosophically about building a championship team. I'm just happy that we have a player to be proud of and hopefully a team to be proud of.

I love that Wade is enjoying Butler rising to the highest levels of NBA stardom. It's really fun to see.

The next level is for Jimmy to raise the confidence of guys like Doug and Niko. If Jimmy can do that (and yes, I have stopped doubting Jimmy), then maybe this season can turn around and be truly fun and memorable.

The next couple of weeks could say a lot in this regard.

Also, Bulls now 3-1 since Fred benched Rondo.

Read on Twitter

Good stat from Jacob Nitzberg of ESPN Stats and Info: "Tonight was Jimmy's 2nd game this season with 40+ points, 10+ rebounds & 5+ assists (also 1/2 vs CHA). Russell Westbrook is the only other player with multiple such games this season (he has 5)."

Fred needs to start Niko for spacing. Taj needs to get his mojo back against 2nd units.

Gar needs to find a vet PG that can hit a 3 and play some D.

Got me hyped for the Butler/Westbrook matchup.

No way do I overpay for Millsap. He's a rental for whoever gets him, and then you're literally looking at a ballpark $30m+ salary which isn't worth it for a player his age. We already have our "veteran benefits package" invested in Wade. I'd reluctantly consider him on the open market but trading assets and then retaining him at that price? Nah.

I'd look long and hard at Denver's fire-sale. If our Cracker Jack garbage is enough to satisfy their demands for a combo of Galinarri/Chandler/Faried (Portis, Valentine, CHI/SAC 1sts, Niko, Taj or RoLo, Rondo as filler salary), then you're coming back with a really strong roster. Chandler and Faried are locked into low salary for 2 more seasons, which would really open the door for recruiting a marquee FA (CP3), especially if Wade agreed to restructure his salary.

Call me crazy, but I see this as remotely possible:

Paul
Wade Doug
Butler Chandler
Gallinari (or Faried)
Taj (or Lopez)

Id for sure take Millsap. He can do everything and will age well. He's showing no signs of a decline. The top teams in the league are at the top due to star power. Our perimeter players are pretty much set other than the possibility of a Rondo-Knight swap. We need an all star big now.
