Standings

How it works

That was great.

Steve Albert "I'll say one thing... win lose or draw, the feel of a playoff environment".

Yes Steve, sometimes we are almost good enough to feel like a playoff team.

Looks like our coaching staff may have finally decided to add some ball movement to our offense. Exciting stuff.

I'm going to go ahead and split those Nashty and now Cactus points up again, because there were too many good players tonight to decide, and two players competing for lead in Cactus

+2 Warren (by far the most efficient shooting, almost at 80%, and 3 steals)
+1 Bledsoe, Booker, Chandler, Chriss

-3 Knight
-3 Barbosa

+3 Bledsoe - 2nd Nashty game in a row and this time against the reigning champs. Played an awesome game and against lesser teams, it would've been enough for him to seal the win for us.
+2 Booker - I loved the off-ball movement and decision making from him in this game. I don't think his defense will ever be something he's known for but his offense has potential to be elite
+1 Chriss - I was going to give this to PJ but I think Chriss is more deserving by making the right decisions and playing within the offense.

Didn't see the game yet. Sorry I have been a bad Suns fan the last month or so and it's not because of TJs play(I am a homer). Too much going on in life right now. Go Suns!!

I thought about giving Knight all the Cactus points but really, we didn't lose this game because of him. We were simply up against a superior team. All things considered, this was one of our better all around performances of the past 2 seasons.

I echo what was said here. I'm surprised so many people are Cactus voting in what was probably our best loss for the season.

@Marquese. Loving the lack of fouls. That post D against Love in the 3rd made me think "hold on, maybe we're onto something?".

+3 Bled.
+1 Booker, TJ, Marquese.

HM: PJ for his energy as always. Chandler for getting rebounds he didn't have a right to get. Crash the D-boards and usually held off a couple of Cavs looking for the o-board (looking at the stats now.... we really didn't have a rebounding PF did we? :P)

Updated the OP of the award with the new rule which bw made for himself.

as of January something-or-other 2017, you can now distribute votes for the Nashty and Cactus however you please. You have a total of 6 votes to give out, but now you have the freedom to do what you want with those 6. The only condition which applies is no more than 3 votes can be given to one player in either award.

Otherwise known as The Brandon Knight rule? I suspect that without that restriction, Brandon could rack up quite a few -6's.

HM: Warren, Tucker, Chandler, and Bender all played very well also. It was nice, as I saw mentioned elsewhere, to see our starters actually playing well for once and bringing us back as opposed to the bench.

Very fun game to watch and I went to bed feeling hope for the team.
