Question about FAs. If we have bird rights on a FA and they agree to a new deal, can we wait until after we use all our cap space to "officially" re-sign that FA (the way team do in real life) or does the new contract immediately go on the books as soon as the deal is agreed to?

It immediately goes on the books.

Only exception is RFA, if you keep their cap hold, and you sign FA's, then one of your RFa's signs a offer you can match it.

I would argue it should go the opposite order like it does in real life. Teams/players always agree and wait to officially sign when it is most beneficial to the team.

We can do it like in real life this time. The teams that signed the players will need to list it the contract in brackets

Sixers and Hornets after recent moves:

Sixers:
Jrue Holiday / Mario Chalmers / TJ McConnell
Kyle Korver / E'Twaun Moore
Lebron James / James Jones
Carmelo Anthony / Terrence Jones / Thomas Robinson
Andrew Bogut / Roy Hibbert / Tyler Hansbrough

Still looking to strengthen my team as much as possible. Can't trade any more first rounders. Still have plenty of second rounders though.

Hornets:
Kemba Walker / Langston Galloway / Ramon Sessions
Marco Belinelli / Tyreke Evans / Buddy Hield
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist / Jeremy Lamb / Treveon Graham
Marvin Williams / Dario Saric / Christian Wood
Nerlens Noel / Frank Kaminsky / Spencer Hawes

Hornets open to anything.

PG: Seth Curry, Pierre Jackson, J.J. Barea (injured)
SG: Wesley Matthews, Devin Harris
SF: Harrison Barnes, Justin Anderson, Dorian Finney-Smith, Nicolas Brussino
PF: Dirk Nowitzki, Dwight Powell
C: Joakim Noah, Kyle Oquinn, Salah Mejri, A.J. Hammons

Dallas is looking to make another rebuild move. Everyone is available for the right price. Dirk has a 25 million team option next season & Devin Harris has an unguaranteed contract for next season and I'm open to taking on contracts if I get solid assets back!

Memphis after latest trade:

PG: Mike Conley, Randy Foye
SG: Monta Ellis, Bojan Bogdanovic, Ray McCallum, Jordan Crawford
SF: Chandler Parsons, James Ennis, , Metta World Peace
F: LaMarcus Aldridge, Jarell Martin, Davis Bertans
C: Marc Gasol, Dakari Johnson

Pretty happy with my team's ability to compete. Very open to trading Parsons for contributing pieces. Anyone available for right price though.

Warriors still looking to make first deal. Happy to trade good prospects Looney, McCaw, and Jones for a more proven veteran. Definitely intrigued to add more rim protection. As long as I have Durant though, I will not take on more long term salary.

Utah still looking to trade Favors for a SG or SF.

Also willing to move any combination of DRose, Diaw, Joe Johnson, Burks, Ingles.
Heck even Withey, Neto, Holiday, Vujacic!
