Remember when Net Science was trying to say signing Rondo would take us to the playoffs compared to Lin? Lol

It's sad that Rondo is almost out of the league. He's wasting his own talent.

idk if he's a "nutjob", he's just wack. As a non-shooter, he needs to be surrounded by perimeter threats. Wade and Butler can stretch the floor, but it's not their strengths...or their teams.

For what it's worth, Chicago is doing surprisingly well to start the season. It's crazy how cohesive they've looked compared to a team like Indiana, another team dealing with some chemistry issues.

When you have a player like Rondo with a very specific skill-set and limitations, you need players who can compensate for those deficiencies. Of course nobody is going to build a roster around Rondo at this point in his career but I think better fits are out there.

When I look at a team like Minnesota, I see a team that features offensive weapons and non shooting PGs running the show. I'm not convinced Rondo's dynamic on the court is any different than what Rubio offers, but I think they drafted Dunn- a seasoned player at Providence- with his experience in mind and he should be the focal point of their guard rotation.

At this point of their respective careers, I think Rondo would be more willing to take a backseat to another PG than Rubio. For all of these reasons, I think Rondo still has some game, but isn't in the ideal situation for things to work out in Chicago

~lol~ Cool. His argument is that Harden would start and there's only one ball.

Well, I don't think harden would start, he was perfect staying as the sixth man, like McHale, Manu, Kukoc, Hondo etc. He just wanted to get paid.

Winning a champ would have cured all, they had good relationships. Otherwise, they could easily have hired a uptempo ball movement coach.

Trade season prediction? 76ers sign Milsap to the max. The Raptors go all in on DeMarcus Cousins.

Oh btw did y'all know that Willie Reed had 22pt/18reb/2blk/2ast in 32 minutes the other day?

Yes, it was followed up 6pt/3reb/2blk and 3 fouls in 23 minutes (which actually isn't too bad) but let's just focus on the good.

Reed can play, he'd probably still be here if he wasn't immature.

The Memphis Grizzlies are the NBA standard of the small market defensive minded team the Nets aspire to be. Their franchise, along with the Warriors are the epitome of culture in the NBA. That's built through continuity, strong commitment to development, & most of all defense. Tony Allen built a 13 year career as a one way defensive player & has been the team's heartbeat for years. They're a team that never stops fighting. They're the blue collar team that refuses to go down in the playoffs.

I see a lot of the fight that contributes to developing a strong defensive identity in Whitehead, LeVert, & RHJ. I can't wait to watch them grow and develop with Atkinson at the helm

So, Rose is fine and just basically skipped the game? Lol.

I've always told people the reason why I love our color scheme is because the Knicks make blue and orange look like the circus with the stuff that goes on over there. We've endured hell from King for six seasons. The Knicks seem to always have one. For like the last 10 years.

Anthony Davis absolutely annihilated Joakim Noah tonight. 74 million and he already looks like KG circa 13'.

We debate on Lopez deals all the time but imagine trying to find a realistic partner to take Melo's contract? Dude is declining and in a league where young stars are vastly more committed on defense, ball movement and passing. He looks like joe Johnson out there with all those isos.

Welp...

This could be a blockbuster trade deadline with a few interesting entities being available

Tier A - Cousins (who definitely won't sign a $200m extension with Sacramento), Whiteside, Milsap, (Melo?)
Tier B - Lopez, Ibaka, Gay, Faried,
Tier C - Dragic, Rubio, Nurkic, M. Ellis, Gallinari,
Tier D - T. Chandler
