Depending on what DV says - Nick Young may be available - I want expirings' and a second. He is playing great this year (starting and with a real head coach - has figured it out). He would be a great scorer to any team, especially a playoff team.
The main thing is Lou Williams. Everyone wants him, but nobody wants to pony up. I will keep him, no problem. $7,000,000 for a perennial 6th man of the year candidate is cheap. I like the guy as well - he can absolutely light it up. Basically, I keep him and don't mind, or someone make me an offer that I can't refuse.
Lastly - I have David Lee for a minimum and a second to the first team to offer it. He will go quick and will be a great addition to playoff teams.
PG probably won't be traded until possibly next season. Kyrie can be dealt, but he won't be cheap. 24 year old star point guards with playoff (championship experience), who can do it all don't grow on trees. Plus he is locked in.
Let me know what you guys think. Cantmesswithness8@yahoo.com
I value Liggins, Zubac, and Green more than you do, I am sure.

there is an easy way to make this trade work with roster spots...
part 1:
Memphis out/Lakers in
Metta World Peace $1,000,000
Ray McCallum $1,000,000
Dakari Johnson $1,000,000
Jordan Crawford $1,000,000
Davis Bertans $543,471 $905,249 $1,250,626 (QO)
CHA 2018 2nd round pick
Total: $4,543,471 *1.25 = $5,679,339
Memphis in/Lakers out
Nick Young: $5,443,918 | | | $5,668,667 (PO)
Memphis accepts. Nick Young gives us another great wing scorer. Don't give up much besides a 2nd round pick.
part 2:
Some of the guys ness waives dont get waived by lal. He sends them to mem. Min contracts can be absorbed in seperate parts

We are actually playing with real life rules though. It was just a mistake that we didnt get the issue in the nyk trade.
But its so easy to make deals work by signing players (and being allowed to trade them without restrictions).
The max is a 4 for 1 deal (if you need players for a bigger contract) because of roster spots; if you are not between 12-15, then do seperate parts like I showed.
So guys please edit the trade and then MEM will have to waive at least one player and take the cap hit

I don't think there is a way to do this legally if we are playing roster size rules. Max people can do would be 3 for 1. 4 for 1 would be illegal. 13+3 = 16, 15-3 = 12 which would both be illegal.
I will point out that this means trades 22, 24, and 31 (another of mine) were all illegal.

There is no roster limit in the off-season, so we should be fine?

In the past we played 12-15 players.
I showed you that there is a way to make this legal easily.
You do a 5 for 1 deal but LAL waives 4 players. You can just make it a 5 for 5 deal, üart 1 is the 5 for 1 deal and part 2 is a deal where mem takes on the contracts.
And mem can take on the contracts because teams can absorb min contracts without having capspace.
Dan Verze wrote:In a new rule I will allow going under 12 or over 15 in deals if players are IMMEDIATELY waived or signed for the deal.
It doesnt make sense to have a very long discussion about it. We all know that there are flaws. So trade works technacilly and I showed how. This is the case for every trade. With minor Tricks we can make them all work. Thats why they were approved and I will also approve this trade.
More important HAVE FUN and dont forget to update your roster lol

How is that different from LAL just waiving the guys like we have? It is the same exact thing rules wise. I say just cancel the trade. I am heading to bed and not really worried about.
