I love Spurs style of BBALL, but.....

Post#1 » by heyPlayer » Tue Jan 10, 2017 11:03 am

Can they maintain this style of efficient and solid basketball all year long and stay at #2 and/or challenge the #1 spot? Could they fall off to the #3 spot in the West?

Doubt it. Clippers' struggles make the 2nd spot quite easy for the Spurs. Also we are deeper than Warriors.
When this account gets more "And1"s than posts written ...then my life will be complete. And maybe it will be the right time to hang it up. (Achieved on 2017-2018 season)...but still here.

If we maintain our current pace, hell even if we slip a bit I don't see anyone catching up to us. For the first 20-25 games we kind of played over our heads, now we're starting to figure things out and play more as a team. We can definitely maintain this, I don't know if we can catch the Warriors though unless they slip up themselves.

How did Dedmon, Simmons, Bertans, etc we never heard of just emerge and play pretty solid roles?

Does the Spurs just have a really good staff such as scouting?

Also who is in charge of conditioning and training? Cause they seem pretty strong and have a pep to their step as well.

there is a correlation relationship every time the gsw loses a game, the spurs loses its next....seems like pop is playing mind games or evidently losing games on purpose for no apparent reason...why is he giivng up games that is winnable and closing the gap or taking over gsw for top west seed...
