Detroit fans saying Reggie acted like a spoiled petulant child? Nobody could've predicted that.

I don't know why fans of the teams we're taking players to don't believe that actually have warts.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Not all of them tho. Some called me out for pointing out the similarities regarding his OKC departure.

Think we just caught them on one of those nights where everything is working because the Blazers are bad.

What an embarassingy biased broadcast by ESPN. No, Durant was neither a great passer nor had a great ballhandle in his last years. And no, he wasn't known for his defense either. Stop making **** up.

He was really good defensively last year against the Spurs and Warriors in the playoffs.

He clearly became a good defensive player ( not great, but good, mostly because of his size).

And he was improving his passing ability ( which was terrible 4-5 years ago). He clearly improved on that end with OKC as well.

I hate him so much and I'm so happy he lost but we can't deny how good he's... ( well at least for the first 47 minutes of games or when he doesn't need to close out a conference finals series  )

So we're talking about a 13 game sample versus years of lackadaisical effort? The whole notion was made up. If anything, he was known for his lack of effort on the defensive end.

Since the 2014 season he had been average to slightly above on that end. His reputation didn't catch up to it, though.

I'm all for hating on the guy, but it has to be factual.

lack of effort for sure, but when he wanted he was defending pretty good ( his blocking ability was very good and he learned to defend against big players when we were playing smallball).

I guess his defensive role on the warriors is more important because they badly need his length.

Anyway, I don't even know why i'm saying good things about this pussy

You're making my point for me. I'm arguing that the dickriding by ESPN is unwarranted. No, he wasn't known for his defense because his defense wasn't that good. No, he hadn't been known for his passing and ballhandling since the end of the 2014 season because both those things turned to ****. It wasn't a coincidence that we had to take the ball out of his hands in the Playoffs.

It really bugs me that media people try to create narratives which have no bearing in reality.

Is it just me or are Kings fans an irrational bunch of guys? The way they talk about their team/roster makes it seem like they're close to contending.

The only way Cousins will ever win is if he teamed up with Lebron. Much like MJ's greatness helped with Rodman, I think Lebron could help Cousins. I doubt it ever happens though.

It would certainly help if his 'supporting cast' would consist of more than just the corpses of vets, scrubs and young guys who are straight up trash or can't get minutes to save their lifes.
