oh yes we can, if we are going the route of "still adding core pieces", RJ+SJ probably net us a decent return. By all indications , KCP will be worth every dollar spent on him and Dre is dre. While everyone is on their knees for TH offensive game, he's consistently exposes us defensively. If we've learned anything in SVG tenure is that he can plug a play rotation players into his system.
FYI. Stan preaches team defense, not individual defense. But, if the players don't follow directions, there isn't much he can do.
SVG's Magic had the 3rd best defense in the league one entire season once with a starting lineup of Jameer, Courtney Lee/JJ Reddick, Hedo Turk, Shard Lewis, Dwight. Now, Jameeer, Reddick and Hedo were absolutely horrible defenders, but they followed SVG's plan. Jameer is as bad or worse than RJ and Hedo as bad or worse than TH. Thus, bad defensive players can be effective if they are smart enough to follow a scheme and buy into the team concept. I am not sure the Pistons have the players to achieve that.

lulz. Hilliard isn't worth a starting spot in FC Barcelona or Fenerbahce and someone wants a 2nd rounder

completely agree, and honestly it doesn't make a lot of sense that TH is a bad defender. He has great foot work offensively but fails to put the effort necessary to apply that to the defensive end. Ish smith is the smallest player on our team and i would be guess per stats he's not a plus defender, however with in our scheme and his attitude to never give up on the play leads our team to better D. I think Ish has more blocks than RJ. Think about that for a sec

Jameer was shorter than Ish!!! Anybody could blow by Meer off the dribble. I could.

Do people really think when Harris comes off the bench he only plays bench players now?

I'm talking about the rebound numbers and I'm talking about the minutes Tobias plays without Andre is absolutely most likely against bench players.

He doesn't deserve to be a nba player.
I made the call the other day about two Aussies that could do a job in the NBA, watching Hilliard has reinforced my opinion.
Why is he in the NBA? How did he get here? What does he actually do well? Is he related to SVG? What does a horse shoe do? Are there any horse socks?.... Is anybody listening to me??
So many questions.

i think your both right
Tobias i think actually averages more minutes off the bench than when he starts(i think) or at least similar. Difference is probably 5-10 of those minutes are now against more bench players, but teams rotations vary.
I would say TH uptick in scoring would be a indicator he's playing against lesser competition, but i think that correlates more with his increase in touches.
