Two different situations, but I don't think you're giving the talent around WB nearly enough credit as they deserve. You're acting like he's playing with D-Leaguers the way you're putting them down.

No please tell me how they're a better offensive cast than Harden's. I mean you're the one making snarky replies, if you're this smart I'd love to see the information. Or maybe you're just trying to look smart without actual information? That seems more likely.

At no point did I insinuate that they're better than Harden's cast offensively. I'm saying that your effort to consistently put your own players down looks ridiculous.

I didn't put them down. I said they're not as good as Houston's cast offensively. That's a statistical fact at this point. You're not comprehending something here.

If you don't like that, you certainly wouldn't like Westbrook's last game.

I know it's just a small thing, just 1/40 games, but both rw and james harden played bad and lost, lebron won playing fine. Nothing really important but it's something, we we'll see if the rockets start losing some games.

As crazy as this sounds....the 76ers are now closer to the 8th seed than last place. If by some miracle from heaven the 76ers make the playoffs, Joel Embiid must enter the conversation if MVP really means Most Valuable Player to his team.

If the Clippers get 2nd seed somehow, is CP3 a legit candidate?

Umm Brooklyn has 8 wins, 76ers have 12 and 8th seed would need 20 wins. They are closer toast place. Even if they were closer to the 8th seed, it's a lot harder to make wins than losses. They would have to go 30-15 to finish the year for the 8th seed. They are hot but not that hot, especially for that long......

And even if they did do that I would have him below 5 other guys. So yeah if he magically makes his team a 55+ win pace team I still don't think that's enough.

As I said, "If by some miracle..." Of course I don't expect them too. But if they did, he is the MVP. Why? Let's assume the 76ers win enough to make the 8th seed. Take any other MVP candidate off of their team and that team probably makes the playoffs or even wins a series. Take Embiid off the 76ers and they win 15 games tops. Who is really more valuable now in this scenario?

Is that far off from removing Giannis who I don't think is a MVP candidate?

I think Freak has more talent around him at this time. Look at the difference in defense with Embiid and without Embiid. Does Giannis have the same impact? I don't know.

I think Westbrook's case is taking a huge hit they way Thunder are losing. Harden is still frontrunner, trailing by LeBron.
I think at the end it'll be a two man race between Harden and LBJ.

The Thunder wouldn't sniff the playoffs without Westbrook. I dont think the bucks would without Giannis either if we are considering him in the conversation for MVP.

IT is getting some mentions. Of course this would be between Westbrook and Harden, but it's good to see IT get some considerations.

The MVP really is Westbrook's to lose.
