I have no problem seeing McCollum getting 25+ ppg efficiently as the primary scorer on a team. This is the exact reason why the suggested trades are fairly laughable. McCollum isn't a good defender, but he's not actually as bad as some would make him out to be. He's totally hideable i.e. Curry. These are all reasons why the Magic have almost zero chance to pick him up without giving up major high importance assets. If you're willing to live with giving it up for CJ, it's probably not enough. If it REALLY, REALLY hurts to give it up, you're on the right path.
