Green was a huge underachiever all his career but he'll have some decent motivation to earn a fat multi-year deal next year. I'm optimistic.

We definitely upgraded our roster to be able to play Gordon/Green/Hezonja at SF, with the depth we have now, I hope Fournier see's very little or no time at all at SF, because he truly shines at SG.

I don't mind Green; I like his toughness. But, not for $15M. Even if we're only tied to him for a year, I would've liked to see him make a little less. Why pay retail when you can shop Amazon and save a little?

If we were going to overpay for the role/position, might as well do it for a good guy.

Think of it as prostitution. You are paying for the service, but also so that it will just go away after the service is performed.

The money will be better spent next year. What I don't agree with, is the notion that this actually makes us a better team.

I want no part of this guy taking away from AG and Mario... but it is what it is... We just re-acquired our lost 2nd rounder from the Jodie Meeks trade when we trade away Green at the Feb Trade Deadline... Or maybe we trade him for player who's salary he matches under the old CBA.

Most seemed to assume the one year deal was a sign to him being a bench player in limited minutes.

In that role where his value was more as a mentor, this was a good plan. We are simply using him so much more than we should or anyone expected.
