Honestly I like what I saw out of him against the Wizards. Yes he made some mistakes. But one thing the announcers said which stuck with me. They said running back on defense he would get lost on who his man was it was they were speaking English and he was used to another language. Not an excuse but guys like TLC and Saric have more than just basketball going on when they are on the court. They have to have rapid language response too. Must take a little while to get used to that. Even if you speak English well.

Yeah. He will make mistakes in his first stretch of extended minutes but he has a lot of room for improvement. He should challenge for a solid rotation spot next year. Our shooting guards are pretty weak. With enough improvement he could challenge to start.

Leading up to this season Brett said he wanted Stauskas to be more of a Manu Ginobili role on this team but the more I watch TLC, the more I see him becoming that guy. I just love this guys game. Curious to see if he gets more run today with no TJ.

Play him with Embiid since he knows French. I'd rather watch Luwawu with that unit anyway.

Luwawu is the second best wing defender on the team, maybe the best in terms of on-ball defense. Cov has better hands and plays the passing lanes better, but Luwawu is really quick laterally. If he fixes the low release point on his shot he could be a really valuable player.

i wish TLC got more touches on the offensive end. 90% of the time he stands in the corner while his teammates play hot potato with the basketball

Gerald playing 15 minutes and Timo playing 25 minutes needs to be the new norm, going forward.

Stauskus hasn't played like Manu, and the rim apparently hates him.

I don't think he has the handle, awareness, or mental processing ability to be able to be able to cope with more touches anytime soon. That was a huge knock on him in all his scouting reports and it has been evident in the sample space of him on the court we've seen.

I just want to see him on the court. I'd think he'd benefit greatly just getting comfortable being on the floor. Whether he's just running around and not touching the ball or not.

80% of his shots are from around the rim or 3s. 47% of them are from around the rim.

I hope he can be a good shooter in a season or two.

Offensively, he can just stand in the corner. Maybe get some open threes, weakside rebounds, easy baskets in transition. I really want him to focus on his defense, rotations, communicating with teammates, just getting comfortable. We can expand his offensive playbook after that.

I see 0 in Luwawu's game that reminds me of Manu. Manu could handle the ball like a point guard, shoot from outside and was an elite slasher/finisher.

I seriously think people forget how good Manu Ginobili was. Dude was an all around stud.

Next Manu is currently seventeen, he is playing in the Real Madrid and he will become draft eligible in 2018.

Ntilikina? It could be, Frank has all the physical tools to guard someone as Doncic.
But Doncic's learning curve is amazing: he has a little chance to be the best player (not young player) at the end of this season and he is 17 yrs old.

I'm really, really impressed.

Yeah, he's no Manu for sure. Nik is much more of a Manu type of player (not as good of course you haters).

TLC projects to be more like a Thabo Sefolosha or a Trevor Ariza 3&D type of wing. Which is just fine for his role on this team.

Timo has been an enigma to me. I'm having trouble figuring out where he fits, going forward. Way too weak and light to guard Fs. Seems to lack the ball skills to play G on the offensive end.
