Boban Leuer Tobias Bullock Ish will be our 5man bench rotation of the bench.

It would be the best defensive lineup i hope SVG gives it a shot, but we need KCP and Leuer back first.

Nah if Stanley is going to start, its for Morris to go to the bench/get traded. Luer stays at the starting 4 spot, with Tobias leading the 2nd group.

Hey we might get a glimpse of SJ starting tomorrow if KCP can't play. At least that could be interesting.

* Perfect world we trade Morris for a shooter. I don't even care if they've got no legs, as long as they present some sort of threat from deep.

Ya maybe. SJ sure isn't too tall. Guarding klay last night he looked smaller than him. Same with afflalo last night

He looked on par or only slightly smaller in terms of size with Draymond Green last night

Klay is taller than a lot of small forwards in the NBA. He's 6'7 or 6'8.

Johnson is 6'6, so he's touch small for the position. But, he doesn't have the speed to play SG.

I like what I'm seeing defensively from SJ, he can handle the ball and find open guys too but the dude is awful when it comes to putting the ball in the hoop. Still, I want to see him start at the 3 for an extended stretch and see what he can do once KCP comes back. Ideally I would like to see it with a different starting PG but I doubt that's going to happen.

I wouldn't be mad if it happened, but I'm liking Stanley getting 30+ minutes off the bench.
with Harris and Stanley coming off the bench it's a huge boost. Hopefully Morris can find his shot after the lakers game and he won't be such a liability.
Stanley has been looking good. He's not getting big numbers but he's coming along nicely.

With Stanley starting there should be enough shots for Harris to slide back into the starting lineup. Mook and Leuer against most reserves should have a big advantage on both ends, especially with Ish setting them up.

I actually prefer leuer in the starting line up and Harris off the bench. Harris plays off ish better and leuer fits better with reggies style.
at the end of the day as long as those forwards are getting enough minutes then who starts isn't that big a deal imo.

Ideally Reggie is replaced in the starting lineup, either way, if Stanley starts over Mook that opens up a lot of shots that I don't want Drummond or Reggie taking.

Assuming that Reggie is going nowhere.... I still prefer to start KCP/Stanley/Leuer. Give us some semblance of defense with guys who don't necessarily need touches and let Mook/Harris play with Ish off the bench and actually provide some semblance of team play.

Alternatively... just bench Reggie and then it doesn't matter who else starts, we'll be much improved.

Stanley is the same height as Mark Aguirre. I'm hoping he has a similar career

KCP at 2 and Stanley at 3 is drool worthy defensively.

Yeah that should be the future of the team as far as their identity of defending the perimeter. No sense in wasting anymore time, time to start Johnson and let him develop.

I think our future lineup is

Reggie
KCP
Stanley
Tobias
Drummond

Other than Love, there aren't a lot of guys at the 4 Tobias would REALLY struggle with.

I think our pf has yet to play a game for us. We need to trade for an awesome defender there. With Stanley and KCP the 3 of them will more than make up for reggie drummond

Seemingly but he struggles against a lot of guys, if Drummond steps up his D like we need him too regardless it shouldn't be an issue.

I'm in the Jackson/Caldwell-Pope/Johnson/Leuer/Drummond camp. Establish a great defensive presence and force chemistry between Drummond and Jackson and KCP.
Surround Smith with shooters in the second unit and just drive and kick.
