There is a whole swath of the NBA community at large that still doesn't get it with Embiid.
They think of him as an injury waiting to happen, and/or a guy putting up numbers on a bad team.
I said at the beginning of the year that I thought it would take a year for the consensus to be that he was better than KAT.
I think a lot of people already believe that, but a lot of the media and fans from other teams don't yet.
The Sixers starting to win like they have been doing recently is going to serve to accelerate that process.
If they continue their current stretch of play for the next 10 games, it will become an info graphic on a national NBA telecast where they will show the Sixers record during the stretch, next to Embiid's numbers, and the whole world will have an AH HA moment with him.
People will suddenly take notice of it, and he will get the credit he deserves.
He has been as good as Hakeem was as a rookie on a per minute basis, and so many people laughed at the Hakeem comparisons.
