draymond green

Post#1 » by davidvolumes » Tue Jan 17, 2017 2:25 am

Against the Lakers Stanley looked alot like draymond green. Stanley still has alot of work to put in. If Stanleys ceiling were draymond would u be satisfied with him. If and when Stanley develops a consistent jumper, move mook to second unit.

If Stanley turned into a Draymond clone I don't think a single person on this board would be disappointed. But that is a pretty lofty goal and Stanley has a looooooooong way to go.

At some point in his career, Draymond will be a Piston. Bet the farm on it.

Draymond had to find his role on his team. Last year he ran into problems with Kerr because draymond began to try to do too much offensively. Stanley is finding his way. It takes time

Ya know, based on the thread title I did not expect this thread to be about Stanley Johnson.

Nice tackle by Draymond on LBJ :-) Maybe he should be playing football.

If Stanley can get the 3pt down he'd be a asset. I do wish SVG would let him get a little more on ball time tho.

No. Draymond is that 6'7"-6'8" guy who can play 3-4 on offense and defend 3, 4 and even 5 on D in an emergency. Stanley could have a great career but not in that capacity.

Thus thread is laughable. Stanley like draymond? Stanley sucks.

Last season, I thought Stanley's ceiling was Ron Artest (the good version). Now? I think his ceiling is about as high as Austin Daye's.

I see SJ as more Demarre Caroll (ATL Hawks) or maybe a slightly more potential version of Jae Crowder at this point.

Nothing of his really stands out as the sky high potential as some have observed. Then again, I'm biased since I didn't like him going into the draft and wanted Hezonja or Winslow or move up to get Kristaps.

I'm with you. I always thought Spud Webb's ceiling was about as high as Sam Bowie's.
