Clippers are currently 4th seed, they're separated from 7th-seeded OKC by a mere four games.

Heck, if they're bad enough without CP, this pick may well fall into early twenties or late teens.

Thank Nation 2 just got interesting.

Some potential names on the board in the 18-23 range:

Harry Giles
Tyler Lydon
TJ Leaf
Thomas Bryant

I'd be happy if we came away with any of those guys especially considering we already got Powell out of that trade. Harry Giles would just be an absurdly good prospect to pick up. We're a playoff team and could let him take all the time in the world to be back to his old self if that's possible.

Best part is the roster size expansion in the new CBA, meaning the 905 will be booming with more interesting prospects than ever.

Masai last 5 rookies. Delon Wright, Norman Powell, poelti, siakam and vanvleet I think Masai knows what he is doing. Let him kill it

Who would you say won a trade if theoretically one team traded a guy who would go on to play 29 games, shoot 25% from 3 and 36% overall before leaving in the offseason for nothing and was out of the league six months later, for the 19th pick in a loaded draft and Norman Powell?

Masai is an absolute beast at trades.

And the cap space to sign CoJo if I can recall correctly. A nice hoist indeed, although a lot of greasy swagger was lost that day.

Masai will make a trade with the Rockets this offseason for a top 3 protected pick and then send someone to injure harden like he's doing with cp3 and blake.

Keep eye on this international currently projected late 1st on DX

Mobile 7'2 and his per minute production looks VERY impressive. He leads an ACB team in PER (25.1) with 21.3/8.4/2.1 blk per 40 minutes on .70 TS%. One of the most efficient players in the ACB. He turned 21 in December but I think for his age not many bigs have been that productive against that competition.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Going with the trend of high PER/good D players that we have recently selected (based on the current DX Mock) in the 15-30 range of this draft, I could see us going with anyone of the following guys:

-Ivan Rabb (he's so good, and so perfect for us)
-Robert Williams (one of the most efficient bigs in all of the NCAA)
-Bam Adebayo (perfect Casey big)
-Harry Giles (not a high PER guy, but if we were to pass on him I think we'd have fits for years)
-Thomas Bryant (perfect fit with any team, does need the ball and does all the dirty work while stretching the floor)
-Jaron Blossomgame (he might already be a Raptor, he just fits way too well with us although I'm personally not high on him)
-Johnathan Motley (another stretch 4 who's the go-to-guy on a top-5 team in the NCAA)
-Josh Hart (complete player, but also creates an even larger glut at the guard spot with DD, Norman, Cojo, KLow, FVV, and Delon already on-board)

Perhaps the Clippers pick might slide into the teens now that CP3 is out for a few weeks?

Such an interesting prospect. I'm so torn on him. I don't want the Porzingis high to get into my head and put him over just because he's another skinny Latvian big man with range. Then again, he's perfect for us because he can be a stash candidate with through the roof potential.

Ah that will be hilarious if Rabb winds up being picked close to 30th. But yes, I agree and wanted him last draft. This draft he will definitely fall out of the top ten, maybe even out of the top 20. He has all of the qualities Masai seems to look for in his draft picks.

Last season:
11.9 TRB, N/A 3pt%, .615 FG%, .616 eFG%, 17.5 Pts, 1.3 Ast, 0.7 Stl, 1.7 Blk, .636 TS%, 24.2 PER, ORtg 124.8, DRtg 95.3, BPM 8.7. Ivan Rabb

8.6 TRB, .350 3pt%, .530 FG%, .561 eFG%, 22.1 Pts, 1.2 Ast, 1.5 Stl, 2.2 Blk, .585 TS%, 21.7 PER, ORtg 112.0, DRtg 102.2, BPM 5.9. Chriss

Looked like exactly what we needed, and better than Chriss in a whole pile of ways.

Correct! Raps only get pick if Clippers make playoffs.

Team has a 10 game cushion on the Nuggets/Blazers. Even with a huge drop with Paul/Griffen out, they should still make it as a late seed.
