KAT and Giannis are untradable and dont fit our scheme anyways. We need a klay thompson like player

Fultz

i don't think the sixers have a shot at fultz anymore. unless the kings completely implode. then we got that pick swap 8-)

the lakers pick is top 3 protected also

Yes, the ideal #3 would be a guy like Klay or maybe a Klay-lite.

The closest thing in the draft might be Monk or Ball who are probably ideal fits with Embiid/Simmons. IDK if we get a shot at either of them in the draft but that'd be ideal.

Closest thing to a 6'7" catch and shoot knockdown guy with defensive potential is Terrance Ferguson and he should be well within range even with the current rate of winning.

is he an elite 3-d prospect?

Potential to be. Gotta hit the weight room but he's long, active, willing, jumps out the arena and is hands down the best 3 and D prospect in the draft class.

37.9% chance right now to keep it.

We can swap our own pick with Kings too.

Don't think the lakers get under Mia and def not Brooklyn. So philly would at least have a 50/50 shot at keeping it. Good enough for me especially if it ends up 4 in a stacked draft.

Small data sample but hes been a monster on defense all year. He still isnt a great offensive center yet though. I think he will be in his prime though

Regarding simmons I project simmons to cap out at 18-19 ppg in his prime unless he develops a respectable jumper

Sixers need that 3rd star if i were them id keep all the picks unless they can trade for a young all star/star

He's scored 20 points in ten consecutive games on limited minutes.

He's about to tie the rookie record with Ewing and Duncan for most consecutive 20 pt, 5 reb, 1 blk games with two more.

He just tied Iverson franchise rookie for most consecutive 20 point games.

He isn't topping out at 18 ppg.

Hope our team can integrate and maximize Ben Simmons and Embiid. I'm guessing our team will counter small ball with BS at PG and teams needing a C to counter Biid.

I feel like McConnell is holding the place of Simmons in that when Simmons arrives he will replace his role and knock covington and stauskas to sg and pg.

I don't think you could ever play a lineup with McConnell and Simmons for any significant amount of minutes. Both of those guys don't like to shoot and are a zero threat from the 3 point line. Spacing would be horrific.

I think our best bet to near-term relevancy would be poaching a shooting PG to pair with Simmons. Lowry is ideal but a bit of a longshot. Holiday would be good but has a troubling injury history. Beverly would be great but doubt the Rockets are open to trading him. I guess Steph would be really ideal but the ultimate long-shot.

Yeah that's what I said in my post. McConnell will be replaced by Simmons. I think Simmons integration is made easier in that McConnells game is similar but much poorer and in a smaller frame.

I think George Hill is the best fit.

Hill is another great fit, older guy though. He seems to have missed a lot of games this year and he did in 2014/15 too so you start to worry about durability when guys get old. Lowry hardly seems to ever miss any games. The other issue with Hill is he didn't seem to put up many big years when he was younger so you wonder how much of this is fool's gold from a great team fit.

The other problem is that both teams are contenders and will be allowed to make big offers to keep their guys.
