Hopefully he can come back next year accepting a 6th man role. That could work out well for us if we find a 3 to fill in the starting role.

The problem with that is he will be lucky to be ready to play around all star break next season. Most likely we will pay him 15m to recover the whole year.

Yeah if Gay rushes back and plays poorly hes only hurting his next contract. I can see him returning late in the season. He'll take a full year minimum.
