He's got a long way to go before he's Pierce or Barkley. He's very inconsistent is what I'm getting at. And if you want an identity Millsap is the better pick, at least then you get the best player from a better team. You're drafting these guys for this year, who cares if their potential is maxed out? You really think a hot month from Jabari starting now would put him ahead of Millsap as a player?

You're drafting based on you becoming a GM and running a team where you only pick once a round. Making a guy like Parker your second pick over Millsap is untapped potential due to lack of system benefits + usage.
I watch the Bucks a lot because I love Giannas+Jabari. They use him as a spot up shooter way too often, when in reality they should be using him as a ball handler or even roll man way more often. He stands in a corner in that awful Kidd offense.
You draft players you think would explode if given more opportunity/schemed properly. I thought Jokic was excellent value for mpharris because if you make him your 2nd best player and build around him, his potential would come out. In Denver he's playing the 4 and splitting time with an Eddy Curry. Situation is everything

I watch the Bucks a good bit too, Jabari's problem has always been he lacks aggressiveness. Night to night he'll put up totally different performances based on how assertive he is being that game. Kidd's coaching has a little to do with it but if you think a different environment would unleash some sort of hidden potential you're way offbase. Putting him with Kemba instead of Giannis really isn't giving him a bigger role either. That's my case. There is still a player out there I might take over Jabari to be honest.

You're not making this even half as fun for me as I was hoping so I'm done for now.

I got in one beef already today, I'm laying low right now.

Jabari's lack of aggression is more of the system he's in that treats him like a spot up shooter. 20 PPG is certainly not inconsistent when he's doing it in such an efficient matter. BAT is subjective however

What I realize recently do not get in a verbal war with mecca just let ur team speak for itself. Any player he drafts is God's gift to earth and any player u draft is the scum of world

main problem with Horford would be the lack of rebounding that he provides as a starting C

Yeah but, to me at least, rebounding is the easiest thing to find in role players. But yes that is a concern. Wall being a good rebounder for a pg helps.

yeah, plus u can do some good things offensively with a Wall-Horford combo

Getting Otto was smart in the West. His Defense will be a big plus. Good knock down shooter with Dame.

Man, I was hoping Batum's down shooting this year would help him sneak to 57. That's a good value for dude.

At this point Beal was a no brainer. Nice pick and nice combo with Cousins.

I like the Beal pick. Dude would be an all star if not for the injuries.

Is it my turn? Says the Heat just drafted, but on the front page it says the Jazz are supposed to be in that slot. Was there a trade?

0 Reason why Wiggins should have fallen to me this late in the draft. Ill take it. Young core building up. Kyrie borderline MVP finals candidate.

Was praying to see LJ come away with the Carmelo/Wade pairing with all of his depth...just glad those two stayed together and in Miami of all places. Spree is going to have a challenge in front of him finding the right pieces to put in between them with the depth he traded, but Adams is a great building block and the perfect type of big man to back Anthony at the 4.

Good job Spree. Looking forward to the rest of your build.

This is a win-now tournament, there are plenty of reasons he didn't go earlier. Still a great talent at this point nonetheless.

Hes producing now though. Are you saying potential means nothing in this BAT like in previous onees? I signed up late.

kinda sucks if thats the only way this will be judged. Pretty much whoever gets Lebron James has a 70% chance to win the BAT just by having the first pick.

He's producing on a lotto-team...

According to the rules, this is a win-now tournament. And as one of the judges, I will be taking everything into consideration, but what a players potential, or how they project is moot. I will however, consider players and their potential to fulfill different roles on these BAT sqauds then they are designated on their current teams. Players like Kevin Love; who with the Cavs is a 3rd option spot-up stretch4, will be judged according to his current 2nd option role and what that would mean based on his skillset. Same goes for current bench players who will be playing starting roles in this competition. Or even current starters who will be playing bench roles in this competition.

Players need to be put in the right role, with the right complimentary players, to get the best out of them. But future potential has no bearing.
