He's got a long way to go before he's Pierce or Barkley. He's very inconsistent is what I'm getting at. And if you want an identity Millsap is the better pick, at least then you get the best player from a better team. You're drafting these guys for this year, who cares if their potential is maxed out? You really think a hot month from Jabari starting now would put him ahead of Millsap as a player?
You're drafting based on you becoming a GM and running a team where you only pick once a round. Making a guy like Parker your second pick over Millsap is untapped potential due to lack of system benefits + usage.
I watch the Bucks a lot because I love Giannas+Jabari. They use him as a spot up shooter way too often, when in reality they should be using him as a ball handler or even roll man way more often. He stands in a corner in that awful Kidd offense.
You draft players you think would explode if given more opportunity/schemed properly. I thought Jokic was excellent value for mpharris because if you make him your 2nd best player and build around him, his potential would come out. In Denver he's playing the 4 and splitting time with an Eddy Curry. Situation is everything
I watch the Bucks a good bit too, Jabari's problem has always been he lacks aggressiveness. Night to night he'll put up totally different performances based on how assertive he is being that game. Kidd's coaching has a little to do with it but if you think a different environment would unleash some sort of hidden potential you're way offbase. Putting him with Kemba instead of Giannis really isn't giving him a bigger role either. That's my case. There is still a player out there I might take over Jabari to be honest.
You're not making this even half as fun for me as I was hoping so I'm done for now.
I got in one beef already today, I'm laying low right now.
Jabari's lack of aggression is more of the system he's in that treats him like a spot up shooter. 20 PPG is certainly not inconsistent when he's doing it in such an efficient matter. BAT is subjective however
