GT: Timberwolves vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Mon Jan 16, 2017 1:51 pm

When: 6:30 PM MT, Jan 17th 2017
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio TX

Time for a bounce back game. We've had a few days off to recover from that poor outing in Mexico City so now it's time for a big win.

Go Spurs!!

The officiating has been awful for both teams

dale ellis looking guy and lee energy of the bench got the team back into the game

with kawhi lighting up only to see parker back to his usual antics again...

green needs to hit those clean open looks he keeps on g etting, cant afford to have him miss those freebies when team is begging for points...

I'm glad we won, of course, though I didn't see the game, so I'm not sure whether to be concerned about how close it was. Happy with Kawhi's box score, though; I love those stat-stuffing lines. More boards and dimes, Kawhi!

ESPN tells me this is the first time a Spur's had four straight 30-point games since Timmy did it 12 seasons ago.

kawhi can have more high scoring games if pop doesnt micro manage him....but the spurs are on pace to win 60 games, no point in wasting kawhis energy chasing meaningless individual stats

Yeah must be because they said the same last game after his third straight game. Pretty crazy really.

I know you don't mess with a good thing and we have Murray coming along, but damnit I want Rubio. I think if we shipped out Parker and a pick for Rubio we'd be terrifying on D, and our offense would remain excellent. Not to mention Rubio and Gasol would obviously gel quickly. Make it happen RC!
“Let's say TPE is a big hole, Ryan Anderson is a "power plug Dick" ($21 million a year). All you have to do is use the Dick to plug in. Great trade and great deal! This is called "perfect fit" in the nba.”

Ricky's one of my favorites, and I've always felt he could emerge as a premiere player under the right system. I'd love to see us pick him up.
