Maybe Jrue was the wrong example. If Eddy Curry broke his hand earlier in the year and came back last week, the judges wouldn't hold him accountable for missing time. However, if Curry was returning in another month, why would the judges hold all the time he's missed pre-draft against him. I don't have any weight in the game, just more curious that anything.
We assume Middleton will be the same as last year. We don't know for sure. Its why I said the best thing would have been if he came back in a few days. I don't think the number of games missed should kill the team...but when you draft him, you hope he is as good as last year. Thats my main point. How do you accurately judge him if you have no current stats from this year yet. Holiday was logging games and showing you what he is doing currently so its easier to judge.
I think he must have solid depth at that position.
