Bench Players
Watching the San Antonio @ Cleveland game: Parker was out and Popovich started a rookie and brought Mills off the bench as usual. That rookie doesn't usually play much. I've seen other coaches do that too. They may start a 3rd string player and give him shorter minutes but they keep their bench core together. Interesting?

Re: Bench Players
Murray seems better than most rookies, yet another Spurs steal IMO.

Re: Bench Players
A lot of coaches do that, especially when they have a good team. Karl even used to do it. Malone for what ever reason seems to not think it is important to keep bench chemistry together, but I think putting Murray as the starting 2 would actually help Mudiay as it spreads the floor a little or leaves a very good shooter wide open at the 2.

I think Malone is still following his "Confusion Approach" - if we can't confuse our opponents, we'll confuse ourselves.
