It shouldn't be a surprise that Dana is actual friends with very few of his employees. He acts like a mob kingpin. Not many mafiosos are really friends, just guys with mutual interests and know where the bodies are buried. Chael and Dana getting along is fitting because they have very few scruples. But I don't think UFC implodes with the alternatives doing it simultaneously. There is a demand for the sport now, all the celebrities investing only legitimized and mainstreamed it further, and where would all the fighters go? They can get sued, unionized, and lose money temporarily from those things; but they're still going to have enough money to invest and turn a healthy profit to recoup some of that money. Maybe well into the future when an alternative pops up that's not actually incompetent they could implode. I think the union could help them appease their employees more within reason so they steady the ship.
Cowboy and Felder were on It's Always Sunny this week, pretending to be preparing for a fight, and using "FightMilk" to cut weight for it. They loved it because it made them expel through all their orifices, which they were kind enough to show the audience. It was a crow's eggs and feces. They were in a few scenes throughout. Pretty good guest-starring role for athletes. Of course Felder is a trained actor and he was smoother, but Cerrone was surprisingly decent as well.
