Noel gets plenty of playing time as a backup. Okafor loses value everytime he steps on the court.

Noel hasn't been helping his case by more playing time either

I'm not worried about it right now, I think both guys are plenty talented to figure out how to maximize each other's skill sets.

I think being 100% concerned with only maximizing Embiid's output is not how you build a team when you have multiple star talents. 33.6 is an insane usage rate especially for a guy with his recent history, getting the ball out of his hands is actually a good thing when you look at the centers that rely on high usage rates around the league, they have something in common and that's not winning, Simmons is almost the perfect player to keep him playing at an elite level while making the team better.

How on the earth has Sauce been our second best defensive player recently ? I mean he's played like a trash lately.

My guess is he always play with Embiid on court.

Noel can't play. No offense whatsoever. His outings that he is not an 8 minute player are now backfiring.

I actually think that the current situation is perfect for Simmons. He just does not have the pressure to do it by himself and he is expected to facilitate without being the burden of being the #1 player that is expected to rescue a franchise. It seems to be perfect for what he is capable of.

Not playing against Clippers, but was never scheduled to travel to Milwaukee which is convenient. I'm assuming he'll play Friday against the Rockets on ESPN.

Good news, didn't seem to have a limp and was shooting after practice.

For context this was obviously made before the season at the time the workout videos were coming out.

I think it's safe to say that Stauskas' great D rating and Noel/Okafor's awful ratings are mostly related to Embiid, Noel in particular. Embiid elevates the players he shares the court with, and he doesn't play alongside Noel at all.

If Ben Wallace developed a good enough offensive game to thrive so can Noel. Not saying he's the next ben wallace or as good just saying you can work on your offensive game enough through your career.

Agreed. The situation is absolutely perfect for Simmons who is a pass first guy. His greatest strength is his ability to draw in defenders driving to the rim yet still create wide open layups for bigs with his passing. Watch him in the Summer League when he would attack the basket and either finish himself or if he drew defenders put passes on a platter for Richaun Holmes. He was making Holmes look like a potential all-star.

And I know people think with no jump shot Simmons isn't a threat but remember... every single team in College knew he wasn't going to shoot jumpers and they still couldn't stop him averaging 19,12,5 in his sleep at about 80% effort. Should have averaged 10 assists as well if he had teammates that could hit shots.

Must've been a bad week in the Eastern Conference. How does he get player of the week when he missed a game? And left another early and didn't return

Pretty sure it runs Sunday-Sunday.

He averages 22/10/3 on 47/37/70 shooting with a near +9 per game and Philly was 3-0.
