 No, some juvenile tantrum after a disappointing loss will have a much more positive affect both within the team and on this board... lol

I don't know that you can call predicting people piling on KCP for struggling in his first game back from injury prescient, given the history of our board. Pitifully, KCP was our second leading rebounder with 5. 3 boards each for Harris and Morris speaks for itself. I guess the "get more boards" message was good for about 2 games. It's usually wrong to react to a single play, but watching Harris stand and watch while Lawson corralled that rebound near the basket caused me to make a vulgar remark.

I didn't get the 3 minutes for SJ. It's not like that entire unit was playing great defense except for Stanley. It's not so much taking him out as never letting him back into the game. On his one shot attempt he took it hard to the hole, something we didn't see much of from the rest of the team? SJ has been playing well and hard for SVG. This didn't seem like good coaching psychology to me. Pull him, coach him, and then if you get the same problem bench him.

Better than halfway into the season this team often plays like strangers. Inconsistency and all too frequent games with poor effort and soft play mark them as unlikely to make the playoffs. I like AD for the way he comes across as a person, but if he can make it hard on Wade and Curry to penetrate when motivated, there is no excuse for what we witnessed last night. I'm afraid that the youth movement phase may not be far off. We wouldn't win many, but it would be more interesting to watch than the crap we witnessed last night.

Russkopp, you're right, there just something "off" about this team.

Then again, what do I know? I'm just an uninformed fan.

when you're capped out and mediocre, you have to raise the phone and do what you can to fix the mess.

let's call things with their names: this is a mess.

If it cheers you, I am losing hope for this team as well. You're kind to call this team mediocre. It is a mess. If they were playing with consistent effort and our record is what they could produce, then they would deserve to be called mediocre. This is something else. Yes, trades become ever more likely and indicated. Best way to go about it is with a thoughtful, patient, and prudent manner.

I'm inclined to call SVG's treatment of SJ a juvenile tantrum.

If my gratuitous mocking of your gratuitous mocking offended you, then you have my apology. The anonymity of these kinds of boards is fun, isn't it?
