Yeah, they won it, but against better teams (like Boston tonight), that taking the air out of the ball with lots of time left and Wall shooting so many off-balanced 18 footers isn't going to work. Wall's stats were ok, but I thought he made an awful lot of poor decisions. Luckily, this was one of Keiff's very good games.

Indy trailing the Knicks by 4 at halftime.

We are putting some distance between us and the 6-8 seeds. We are still in striking distance of the 3rd and 4th seeds.

3rd seed should be our goal. Were 2.5 behind Boston. Only 1.5 if we win tomorrow. Pretty amazing considering the 2-8 start.

To have any hope of getting to the EC Finals we need to avoid Cleveland in the first two rounds.

And even Cleveland has been getting their arse handed to them lately. Losing to the Pelicans without Anthony Davis... zoiks.

Wiz are the only team in the East that's won as many as 8 of their last 10 games.

Hard to believe we're not that far away from the 2nd seed.
Good bench play from Oubre, Smith, and sometimes Burke/Sato has been the difference. Also Morris deciding to play harder.
Putting Mahinmi's return aside for now, what has to happen to move to a higher level?
1) Still need a reliable backup SG. McClellan is not that. Getting hit in the head with an outlet pass didn't help.
2) Wall and Beal have to cut down turnovers. Are they inevitable given their style of play? That's hard to believe.

The funniest part of it is that Gortat finally can sit for a couple of minutes each game. I bet in a couple of weeks that will play an important role for this team' success.

For as much as we like to rag on our organisation for a variety of reasons..... We are lucky for one thing at least. DECENT COMMENTARY TEAM.

My god charlotte's is terrible. So boring. Buck and Phil sound like they at least know each other. I had to mute charlotte's team. If i had full league pass i may have switched to the spanish broadcast.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.
