I bet you voted for Bernie Sanders, with that "give me free soup" attitude you've got going on there.

The plan includes $180 billion to rail and bus systems, $65 billion to ports, airports and waterways, $110 billion for water and sewer systems, $100 billion for energy infrastructure, and $20 billion for public and tribal lands.

Cited by the Times, Chuck Schumer said “our urban and rural communities have their own unique set of infrastructure priorities, and this proposal would provide funding to address those needed upgrades that go beyond the traditional road and bridge repair." The Senate Democrat leader adds that “We’re asking President Trump to work with us to make it a reality/"

And to think AFM had that extra cot open for you! Okay, might require a bit of clean-up.

Watching a conversation between repressed anger and fresh volatile anger may be as close as we get to time travel in our lifetime.

That's not true. Islam sent my home country back in time 700 years.

And you would agree that it is a small fraction of the Trump supporters? Or do you still want to lump all of them together :)

I'm not sure I've ever actually lumped them all together. I'm speaking specifically about the Trump zealots who are all-in on Trump and read Breitbart, Info Wars and other fan fiction websites - not people who voted against Hillary or voted for their taxes or whatever. Not that I'm bursting with respect for those folks either tbh.

Huffington Post is pretty bad and not something I read. Still, they're probably a lot better than Brietbart in terms of basic honesty and truth telling.

My man AFM gets his news from 4chan and Info Wars, though, so I'll defer to his expert analysis of news media.

I don't think I've ever visited info wars. Alex Jones is pretty (unintentionally) funny though.

To be fair, John McCain also gets his news from 4chan

See, Hillary should have followed your lead and modified her famous quote to: "You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?" Clinton said. "The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it. You know, the 25% of the country that gets their news from breitbart."

Yeah, Hillary should have definitely molded her campaign strategy around the behavior of a random internet poster taking shots at Popper and Induveca

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

While Trump maintains his view on rampant voter fraud, other Republicans have debunked his claims.

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) told reporters at the Capitol on Tuesday that he’s seen “no evidence” of voter fraud.

And Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who was critical of Trump during the campaign, urged the president to stop making the claims.
“I am begging the president: Share with us the information you have about this or please stop saying it,” Graham said.

What's the matter with Ryan and Graham? Haven't they gotten the memo about "alternative facts"?

It sounds worse than it really is. First I thought it applied to EPA employees personal social media accounts, but it's really only work accounts.
Unfortunately, for quite a while, there's been hoards of political appointees in the civilian agencies whose main function seems to be to control the message coming out of the agency. The purpose is to further the goals of the party in power, by making themselves look good, and to disparage opposing viewpoints. There is no regard to looking at looking at policy in an objective manner. This is what our government has become.
There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics — quote popularized by Mark Twain.
