Taking that trophy home this year!

Was definitely the winner last year, but whatever.

Brave move. It will be hard to match last year's performance.

LaVine knows this, or he's just plain scared to lose. He's not expected back this year.

Sadly I fear lots of commentary around how he should spend less time dunking and more time practising his jump shot.

I'm somewhat concerned for Gordon as well. I'm not sure he can do anything to ever top last year's performance. Even though he didn't win, I feel like it was such a classic movie that I wouldn't want to ruin that experience with a half-baked sequel. But, hey, go bring some hardware back to Orlando.

Go claim what you should have won last year AG! It is gonna be very interesting to see what new dunks he may have in store for all of us. This is certainly the highlight of our dismal season.

What if, Lavine/Gordon became the new dunk contest battle, like the Jordan/Wilkins battles we used to see. :o

But but you forgot Gordon lives in the present and doesnt let past results or future expectations get into his headspace. :) good on AG. Hes a confident kid.

I don't think AG would do this if he didn't have new dunks planned out that would blow people away. He basically said last year that he was not sure he'd do it again because of this.

In other words, I'm strapped in.

Think he could get into a laying down position in mid-air and end with a dunk? :o

I think he should jump over a replica tank and after the dunk, the hatch opens up and Jacque Vaughn pops up and pulls off a pair of goggles and looks around with a big grin on his face.

I heard that he was committed to doing it back in November through a family friend who owns and operates their own gymnastics gym. Apparently AG's people came to them because AG has something in mind that requires gymnastics equipment. Don't know if he followed through with it or not, but I guess we will find out in a few weeks.

Anyways, hopefully he brings back what was rightfully his last year. It'll be hard to beat, but after seeing his creativity on full display (and on the fly), I'm fully confident he has something nice up his sleeve.
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

The fans will expect an equal or greater performance compared to last year. That'll be hard to match

That would be wild. I would like to see him try a 720 two fill spins or a double eastbay.

Actually I was going with handles and dribble drives, seeing as I would rather he attack the rim.
