I would not want to trade Frank just for a short term vet move to help us get to the 6th seed. I'd like to give Frank at least one more year to really figure it out, like he did in his 3rd year in college. Also give our front office and coach more time to figure the best way to utilize Frank and the best players to pair with him.

Agreed. Trading frank when hes got two cheap option years left is dumb. We're already capped out and have too many other midsize deals we would be better off moving.

Id like to move marv if possible to play frank/mkg at pf going forward and open up some space

MKG gets bodied by too many SFs to be a serviceable PF

This captures 1644 FGA's, 930 FTA's, 1817 possessions, and 4595 minutes. Their collective TS% differential is ~ a 15 team gap yet Kaminsky's narrative essentially boils down to 12 individual tail-wags-dog three pointers over half a season. For the record his differential leads CHA.

*CHA's top 11 players.

Some non-box score goodness (and an example why Marco's importance is so under appreciated).

Clip #1 showing Frank impacting via Embiid, Nic reading/owning Henderson, Marvin's replace.
Image

Clip #2: Marco essentially makes the entire play, Roy being tall, Frank reading Noel for Roy's ft's.

Kemba has been awesome this year but it's beyond me how this stuff gets glossed over and the referendum becomes FK. Some of the dirty looks were straight mean girls.

As an aside, I'm going to chill on posting on RGM. I'll pop in occasionally with CHA related info but for whatever reason gaining traction on ideas hasn't always been easy.

I really really don't get the Frank haters on here. Yeah, he went thru a slump last month as many younger player do but he has stepped up to hit big shots in many games over the last 2 years.
Trade him? Ridiculous, he is a 7 footer who can hit 3's, pass, dribble and uses court spacing well. Plus, he is dirt cheap and still improving. After Kemba and Cody, he is our best value on the team.

Well, uh, that was unexpected. Any snubs from his class?

Dekker, Norm Powell, Nance Jr to name a few, but I'm glad they chose Frank. Gives me a reason to pay attention.

It was either him, Pascal Siakam or Willy Hernangomez. Then it drops off to guys like Hezonja and Diallo.

I would say that he's the best choice of that bunch.

It's been a few days since Mystical Apples has conjured up some stats that makes Frank look good. Can the stats wunderkind put a silver lining on Frank's play as of late?

Frank has a fractured bone in his nose. He's playing tentative as **** because of that IMHO.

Frank had 6 assists and 0 TOs in 22 minutes tonight. Guessing not too many PFs have done that before.

ETA: Apparently it's happened 5 times this season, and only 12 times total since the 2010-11 season - link

Frank left SAC game first half due to shortness of breath, I think he really is struggling with that broken nose
